Background: Nontyphoidal salmonella (NTS) are responsible for food-borne gastroenteritis and bacteremia, in immunosuppressed individuals. Antibiotic resistance in NTS is on the rise. This study reports the prevalence and antimicrobial susceptibility of nontyphoidal salmonella in clinical samples.
