Although superficial non-ampullary duodenal epithelial tumor (SNADET) was previously considered a rare disease, in recent years, the opportunities to detect and treat SNADET are increasing. Considering the high morbidity of pancreatoduodenectomy, endoscopic resection can be a treatment option that preserves the organs and contributes maintain patients' quality of life. Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) is a standard treatment for relatively small lesions in gastrointestinal tracts, however, it is difficult because submucosal fibrosis frequently occurs due to the previous biopsy.

Currently, the most commonly used capsule procedures are small bowel capsule endoscopy (SBCE), colon CE (CCE), and the recently developed pan-enteric CE that evaluates the SB and colon in patients with Crohn's disease (CD). SBCE has a higher diagnostic performance compared to other radiological and conventional endoscopic modalities in patients with suspected CD.

Background And Aim: Preoperative histological evaluation of pancreatic neoplasms is important for guiding the resection strategy and preventing postoperative adverse events. However, conventional endoscopic methods have technical limitations that reduce the accuracy of the histopathological examination. Probe electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (PESI-MS) may be a useful technique for rapidly evaluating small specimens.

Objectives: Large vessel vasculitis (LVV) is characterised by a high relapse rate. Because accurate assessment of the LVV disease status can be difficult, an accurate prognostic marker for initial risk stratification is required. We conducted a comprehensive longitudinal investigation of next-generation RNA-sequencing data for patients with LVV to explore useful biomarkers associated with clinical characteristics.

Background And Aim: Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) has been used in patients with dysphagia and inadequate food intake via an oral route. Despite being a procedure with a high success rate, complications and death have been reported. The aim was to identify the factors related to major complications and mortality, as well as PEG removal prognostic factors due to improvement of their general condition.

However, the mechanism of TCZ efficacy is unclear. This study aims to elucidate the relationship between Tregs and IL-6R blockade in autoimmunity-mediated renal disease based on a TCZ-treated cohort of patients with anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis (AAV) and in an experimental model of crescentic glomerulonephritis (cGN).

Seven cases of BD thought to be triggered by TB have been reported to date. In all cases, Behçet's symptoms improved smoothly after starting TB treatment.

We conducted this clinical practice-based observational study to clarify whether Chronic Liver Failure Consortium Organ Failure scores (CLIF-C OFs) and the computed tomography-derived liver volume to standard liver volume (CTLV/SLV) ratio at admission to a tertiary transplant center can predict outcomes and complications due to infection. Thirty-four consecutive corticosteroid-treated patients with SA-AIH from 2007 to 2018 were included.

NAFLD develops in patients with liver disease, including patients with autoimmune hepatitis (AIH). NAFLD and AIH have some similar laboratory and histological findings.

A prognostic system for acute liver failure (ALF) with a higher predictive value is urgently needed. The role of extracellular matrix (ECM) remodeling in ALF has not been fully elucidated. We hypothesized that serologic fibrosis markers, which reflect ECM remodeling, are predictive of ALF outcome at first presentation.

We report a case of a breast mass diagnosed as IgG4-related mastopathy (IgG4-RM) through needle biopsy, which responded well to glucocorticoid therapy. Unnecessary excision should be avoided.
