Tendon adhesion is a common complication after tendon surgery. The inflammatory phase of tendon healing is characterized by the release of a large number of inflammatory factors, whose mediated excessive inflammatory response is an important cause of tendon adhesion formation. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs) were used to prevent tendon adhesions by reducing the inflammatory response.

Background: COVID-19 has been a public health emergency of international concern (PHEIC) for a lengthy period of time. The novel coronavirus is primarily spread via aerosols at a short distance, with infected individuals releasing large amounts of aerosols when speaking and coughing. However, there is an open question regarding whether mouthwash could effectively reduce virus transmission during the COVID-19 pandemic and support the prevention of infection among medical workers.

Xingtai People's Hospital Postdoctoral Workstation, Xingtai People's Hospital, Xingtai 054031, China; Department of Orthopedics, Xingtai People's Hospital, Xingtai 054031, China. Electronic address:

Appropriate levels of inflammation are an important part of functional repair of nerve damage. However, excessive inflammation can cause the continuous activation of immune inflammatory cells and degeneration of nerve cells. Regulating the temporal and spatial changes in M1/M2 macrophages can regulate the local inflammatory immune environment of the tissue to promote its transformation to a direction conducive to tissue repair.

July 2023

Department of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Cardiovascular Imaging and Intervention Center, Fuwai Hospital, State Key Laboratory of Cardiovascular Disease, National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College, Beijing 100037, China. Electronic address:

Purpose: Left ventricular (LV) dyssynchrony is believed to be associated with the prognosis of dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) mainly assessed by echocardiography. This study sought to explore whether quantitative LV mechanical dyssynchrony by cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) tissue feature tracking could predict the prognosis of DCM.

Method: Patients undergoing CMR between January 2016 and December 2017 were reviewed to identify DCM patients.

Improvement of olfactory fMRI activation and hemodynamic response function curve with respiration correction.

J Neurosci Methods

February 2023

Department of Radiology, Haikou People's Hospital, Affiliated Haikou Hospital of Xiangya Medical school, Central South University, Haikou, Hainan Province 570208, China. Electronic address:

Background: Odor perception is highly dependent on respiration, however, the asynchronization between inspiration and odor delivery results in a decreased activation and hemodynamic response function (HRF) curve in olfactory functional MRI (fMRI). This study aimed to investigate the effect of a data post-processing method to minimize the asynchronization and consequently improve the olfactory activation and HRF curve and compare it between different TRs (3 s and 1 s).

New Method: A new data post-processing method of respiration correction based on olfactory perception was investigated.

Difference in Intestinal Flora and Characteristics of Plasma Metabonomics in Pneumoconiosis Patients.

Metabolites

September 2022

Hebei Province Key Laboratory of Occupational Health and Safety for Coal Industry, School of Public Health, North China University of Science and Technology, Tangshan 063210, China.

From the two perspectives of intestinal flora and plasma metabolomics, the mechanism of occurrence and development of pneumoconiosis was explored to provide a new target for the prevention and treatment of pneumoconiosis. In this study, 16S ribosome DNA (16SrDNA) gene sequencing technology was used to analyze the differences in intestinal flora of each research group through operational taxonomic units (OUT) analysis, cluster analysis, principal component analysis (PCA), partial least square discriminant analysis (PLS-DA), Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG), and other analytical methods were used to analyze the differences in plasma metabolites between the study groups. Metabonomics analysis showed that the plasma metabolites of pneumoconiosis patients were significantly different from those of normal people.
