Implant-related factors (length, diameter, surgical and loading protocols, grafting, insertion torque, and primary stability) were used for comparisons and linear regression analyses, using secondary ISQ as the dependent variable.

Cemento-osseous dysplasia (COD) is a benign fibro-osseous pathology in which fibrous connective tissues, osteoid and cementum-like materials, replace bone. Concerning the hypovascularization and increased mineralization of bone that occurs in these patients, the clinician may face two types of problems: infectious complications such as osteomyelitis and increased implant failure. Antibiotics have various indications for treatment and prophylaxis in dental practice. While only a handful of antibiotics are typically prescribed in dentistry, unlike in medicine, clear indications and appropriate dosing and duration remain controversial among antibiotic-prescribing dentists, which may result in inappropriate or excessive antibiotic prescriptions. This practice can increase the risk of antibiotic resistance and expose patients to unnecessary side effects.

Materials And Methods: MEDLINE, Scopus, CENTRAL, ClinicalTrials.gov, and the International Clinical Trials Registry Platform were searched (inception-February 2024) for randomized controlled trials (RCT) comparing posterior PCRs composed of different ceramic and ceramic-based materials with a minimum follow-up of 1 year.
