Objective: Assessment of cortical function with threshold tracking transcranial magnetic stimulation (TT-TMS) has developed as a biomarker to inform disease pathophysiology, particularly in neurodegenerative disease and dementia. At present, a fully integrated testing system does not exist. To advance clinical utility, and to streamline software design to integrate with diagnostic approaches in an outpatient setting, the present series of studies assessed the effects of altering diagnostic paradigms to measure interstimulus interval (ISI) including serial ascending [T-SICIs] and parallel [T-SICIp] methodologies as measures of cortical motor function (the MagXite software).

Objective: To apply machine learning approaches on EEG event-related oscillations (ERO) to discriminate preclinical Alzheimer's disease (AD) from age- and sex-matched controls.
Methods: Twenty-two cognitively normal preclinical AD participants with elevated amyloid and 21 cognitively normal controls without elevated amyloid completed n-back working memory tasks (n = 0, 1, 2). The absolute and relative power of ERO was extracted using the discrete wavelet transform in the delta, theta, alpha, and beta bands.

Objective: In autosomal recessive spastic ataxia of Charlevoix-Saguenay (ARSACS) disease, severity and age of onset vary greatly, hindering to objectively measure and predict clinical progression. Thickening of the retinal nerve fiber layer is distinctive of ARSACS patients, as assessed by optical coherence tomography, whereas conventional brain magnetic resonance imaging findings include both supratentorial and infratentorial changes. Because longitudinal imaging studies in ARSACS patients are not available to define these changes as biomarkers of disease progression, we aimed to address this issue in the ARSACS mouse model.

In this case report, we present a 37-year-old non-obese female with 2-month history of progressive pain and tingling on the anterolateral side of right thigh. Clinical features of patient were consistent with MP, which was confirmed via electrodiagnostic study.

Those drugs play a pivotal role in preventing graft rejection and reducing autoimmunity. However, recent studies indicate that CNIs can disrupt the composition of gut microbiota or result in "gut dysbiosis".

Status epilepticus is a common neurological emergency that is characterised by prolonged or recurrent seizures without recovery between episodes and associated with substantial morbidity and mortality. Prompt recognition and targeted therapy can reduce the risk of complications and death associated with status epilepticus, thereby improving outcomes. The most recent International League Against Epilepsy definition considers two important timepoints in status epilepticus: first, when the seizure does not self-terminate; and second, when the seizure can have long-term consequences, including neuronal injury.

Background: Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) has been used to assess voluntary activation (VA) of limb and back muscles, however its ability to assess abdominal muscle VA is unknown. The assessment of abdominal muscle VA using TMS could be applied to patients with trunk dysfunction to enable further understanding of the neurophysiology of trunk control, inform practice and enable the development and monitoring of rehabilitation programmes.
Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate use of TMS and the twitch interpolation technique to measure voluntary activation of abdominal muscles.
