How old is too old? A contribution to the discussion on age limits for assisted reproduction technique access.

In 2012, the Czech Republic established the women's age limit for access to assisted reproduction techniques at age 49 years. In this paper, the acceptability of this age limit from the children's perspective in the Czech Republic is assessed. Although the necessity of balancing the interests of parents and children is acknowledged, little research has taken children's interests into account.

Extremely large vulvar fibroma in a 15-year-old girl.

Birth after cesarean section.

Background: The number of incoming expectant women who have previously experienced cesarean section has increased. This work sought to find the frequency and connections between vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and iterative cesarean sections from 2004 to 2008.

Material/methods: In all, 828 women with previous cesarean sections were included.

Background: Injuries encountered in association with the aquatic environment negatively affect morbidity and mortality rates in children. It is the second (in Bohemia the third) most frequent cause of injuries in children under 19 years of age. The targets of the study are as follows: to analyse the problems of children's injuries associated with water in the Czech Republic by the mechanism of their origination; to compare the analysis of results with the situation abroad; to evaluate risk factors associated with the aquatic environment.

Hyperreactio luteinalis in spontaneous singleton pregnancy.

A case of a pregnant woman with bilateral cystic ovaries diagnosed in the 12th week of gestation is presented. The successful outcome of pregnancy with hyperreactio luteinalis, which spontaneously resolved in the 3rd trimester and the importance of a differential diagnosis of an abdominal mass during pregnancy to avoid unnecessary surgery is demonstrated.

Objective: Parasitic diseases, particularly the congenital form of toxoplasmosis, can negatively affect the mortality and morbidity of newborns and infants.

Methods: The authors examined 152 samples of umbilical blood in 152 women who had experienced premature delivery with or without PROM. The samples were examined for the titre of antibodies - the CFR, levels of immunoglobulins IgA and IGM (toxoplasmosis) and for titres of antibodies against toxocariasis.
