Severe COVID-19 pneumonia in pregnant woman treated with pulse corticosteroids therapy and third-trimester caesarean section: A case report.

A 44-year-old woman at 30 weeks of pregnancy was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit with a diagnosis of severe COVID-19 pneumonia. Her condition worsened quickly, defined by prolonged hypoxia even with intensive therapy and oxygen supplementation. This led to the decision to perform a caesarean delivery and continue pulse corticosteroids therapy after delivery.
