Key Clinical Message: Patients with transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis (ATTR-CM) commonly present with dyspnea, fatigue, and edema. In our case, the main presentation was exertional angina, which was atypical in patients with ATTR-CM and should be paid more attention to.

Abstract: A 54-year-old woman was admitted with a complaint of exertional chest pain, and she had a history of hypertension.

Background Dietary magnesium and serum magnesium play an important part in cardiovascular disease (CVD). However, the association between magnesium depletion score (MDS) and CVD development and prognosis remains unclear. This analysis examines the cross-sectional relationship between MDS and CVD, and the longitudinal association between MDS and all-cause and CVD mortality in individuals with CVD.

We aimed to evaluate the plasma protein levels of a disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motifs like 4 (ADAMTSL4) and its relationship with IPAH and CTEPH. Plasma ADAMTSL4 protein levels were measured using proteomics analysis in eight patients with IPAH and nine healthy controls.

Hyperkalemia mimicking de Winter T waves: A case report.

"De Winter" electrocardiogram pattern is considered an equivalent risk to ST-elevation myocardial infarction and usually indicates occlusion of the left anterior descending artery, which needs emergent revascularization treatment. However, some conditions can mimic "de Winter" electrocardiogram pattern and may cause misdiagnosis. Here, we reported a case of hyperkalemia presented with "de Winter-like" electrocardiogram pattern.

Pulmonary artery enlargement predicts poor survival in patients with COPD: A meta-analysis.

No previous meta-analysis has evaluated the relationship between pulmonary artery enlargement (PAE) measured by computed tomography (CT) and prognosis for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Recently, several studies have suggested poor survival and reduced exercise capacity in COPD patients with PAE on CT scan, but there were conflicting results. We aimed to assess the prognostic value of PAE-CT in patients with COPD.
