Perioperative neurocognitive disorder (PND) is a common complication in the perioperative period, which not only prolongs the hospitalization of patients, increases the cost of treatment, but even increases the postoperative mortality of patients, bringing a heavy burden to families and society. Mechanism exploration involves anesthesia and surgery that lead to microglial activation, promote the synthesis and secretion of inflammatory factors, cause an inflammatory cascade, aggravate nerve cell damage, and lead to cognitive dysfunction. It is believed that microglia-mediated neuroinflammatory responses play a vital role in the formation of PND.

The current study aimed to analyze the causes of misdiagnosis and review the key points of diagnosis and treatment. We presented an extremely rare case of a 25-year-old man whose clinical characteristics mimicked acute transverse myelitis, suffering from rapidly and repeatedly progressive myelopathy with a mass.

Similar reports in the past pay less attention to the anesthetic management of these patients. We reported a 46-year-old man who suffered from hypertensive cerebral apoplexy 5 months ago and accepted C7 nerve transfer to improve the central spastic paralysis in the right upper limb. After careful evaluation and anesthesia management before anesthesia, the operation was successfully completed under general anesthesia.

It has been increasingly used to treat multisystem diseases or analgesia in surgical patients, but the latter accounted for the vast majority of cases. The nonanalgesic effect of nerve blocks is also in wide demand.

As one of the convenient ways to treat the sympathetic nervous system, the indications for stellate ganglion intervention (SGI) include complex regional pain syndrome, postherpetic neuralgia, cancer pain of different origins, orofacial pain, and so forth. SGI refers to the reversible or irreversible blocking of the cervical sympathetic trunk, cervical sympathetic ganglion, and their innervation range through noninvasive or minimally invasive treatment.

The present study was designed to explore the influences of different dosages of S-ketamine anesthesia induction regimes on psychiatric complications and postoperative prognosis in patients undergoing gynecological operations. In this prospective, triple-blinded, randomized, controlled study, patients undergoing elective gynecological surgery were randomized to one of three treatment groups: low-dose S-ketamine (LDSK) group (a 0.

The components and targets in HGWD were collected and identified through System Pharmacology Database (Traditional Chinese Medicine Database and Analysis Platform). Genecards and Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man databases were used to search for NP-related genes.

A 36-year-old male was rushed to our institution due to an attack on the back. His superficial sensation below the nipple had disappeared (mainly in the left breast), the proprioception of both lower limbs was obviously decreased, and the muscle strength of the left lower limb was level 0 and that of the right lower limb was level 3.

Compared with ketamine, it has the advantages of a fast metabolism, fewer side effects, and strong pharmacological effects, so it is more suitable for clinical use. Esketamine has a powerful analgesic effect and has little effect on breathing.

This disease is associated with multiple factors, such as chronic brain injury, aging, chronic systemic disease, mental state, and psychological factors. However, the pathological mechanism of CI remains unclear; it is usually associated with such underlying diseases as diabetes and hyperlipidemia.

The loss of neuronal in the substantia nigra of the elderly contributes to striatal damage and plays a critical part in the common forms of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson disease (PD). The deficit of dopamine is one of the most familiar neuropathological features of PD as well as α-Synuclein aggregation. The peripheral autonomic nervous system is also affected negatively during the course of the disease, although the subsistent of dyskinesias and else major motor characteristic deficits take significant role in the diagnostic methods during clinical practice, which is related to a number of non-motor symptoms that might increase aggregate risks.

The current SCI treatment is mainly to stabilize the spine, prevent secondary damage, and control inflammation. Drug treatment is limited to early, large-scale use of steroids to reduce the effects of edema after SCI.

This study aimed to explore the role of improved combined analgesia methods in pain, sedation, postoperative nausea, and vomiting (PONV) in patients undergoing gynecological surgeries. This study was a prospective, randomized, double-blind controlled study.

Based on this, we reviewed and summarized the literature on peripheral trunk nerve block include: paraspinal block, retrolaminar block, plane block of erect spinal muscle, transverse convex to pleural midpoint block, block of the trapezius muscle and anterior serratus muscle, anterior serratus muscle block, thoracic nerve block, abdominal transverse fascia block, type-I block of quadratus lumborum, type-II block of quadratus lumborum, type-III block of quadratus lumborum, block of the sheath of rectus abdominis. This paper reviews the ultrasound-guided peripheral trunk block technique, including development history, anatomic basis, implementation methods, advantages and disadvantages of nerve block technique, and describes the bottleneck and difficulties of nerve block technique at present.

Methods: 104 patients undergoing elective tracheal intubation general anesthesia in our hospital were randomly divided into 2 groups: Remimazolam Toluenesulfonic acid group (Group R) and Propofol group (Group P). MOAA/S score, the modified Aldrete score, recovery index, time point, a state of consciousness, interpretative vital signs and adverse events were monitored at different time.
Background: Acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and choline acetyltransferase (ChAT) are closely related to the regulation of learning and memory. Nevertheless, whether sevoflurane has influence on cognition through regulating the expression of AChE and ChAT remains unclear.
Methods: Aging rat model was established by subcutaneously injection of D-galactose for 6 consecutive weeks.

Hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) is the common etiology of neonatal morbidity and mortality, which exerts a negative seriously influence for the growth and development of children, and even threatens their life. Therapeutic methods are timely not adopted, it will cause serious irreversible damage to the neonatal nervous system. As no promising therapeutic strategies exist currently, it is important to elucidate the pathological mechanism for HIE, which requires us to explore the nucleic acid molecules, protein, and cell function in HIE patients, and to understand the process of the onset and progression, then research and invent better treatment methods and therapeutic drugs.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the expression changes of transient receptor potential vanilloid 1 (TRPV1), neurokinin A (NKA), neurokinin B (NKB), calcitonin gene related peptide (CGRP) and substance P (SP) in 14, 21 and 42-day-old rats after inhaling 0.4% sevoflurane, in order to evaluate whether the residual sevoflurane be harmful to the respiratory system through neurogenic inflammation.
