This study aims to retrospectively analyze and compare the early postoperative limb function and quality of life of patients treated with total hip arthroplasty (THA) and proximal femoral nail antirotation (PFNA) for this type of fracture. We hypothesize that there is no significant difference in complications and postoperative recovery between the two surgical methods.

Objective: The aim of this study is to assess the kinematic changes in the knee joint during walking in patients with isolated PCL-deficiency (PCLD) to determine the presence of walking-related joint instability (mechanical instability-abnormal displacement form structural damage). Additionally, the study seeks to provide biomechanical insights into the observed differences between subjective and objective assessments.

Methods: 35 healthy volunteers and 27 patients with isolated PCLD (both involved and uninvolved sides) were included in the study.

Colorectal cancer (CRC) continues to be a significant global health issue contributing to a high mortality rate. We present an exceptionally rare case of CRC metastasis to the duodenum in a 42-year-old female who has been compliant with postsurgical surveillance.
