Aims: The purpose of this systematic review was to evaluate the cost-effectiveness and acceptance of children and their parents of the Hall technique (HT) for dental rehabilitation in pediatric dentistry.
Background: The approach of the HT is that of minimally invasive treatment of the dental element and is used exclusively on primary molars. Various studies in the literature point to HT as a restorative option well accepted by children and parents and quite predictable, with low retreatment rates and good cost-effectiveness for the management of primary molars with carious lesions.

Introduction: Pseudoaneurysm is a vascular injury typically caused by rupture of arteries with extravasation of blood. The involvement of this entity in facial arteries after firearm aggression is extremely rare, and they need treatment as early as possible, thus avoiding irreversible damage to patients.

This study aimed to determine the effect of the co-administration of dexamethasone 8mg and nimesulide 100mg given 1h before mandibular third molar surgery. A prospective, randomized, triple-blind, split-mouth clinical trial was developed at the study institution in Pernambuco, Brazil. A pilot study was first performed (95% confidence interval, 80% test power, and 5% error), and a sample of 40 patients aged between 18 and 40 years was selected.

Background Data: The presence of Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacillus acidophilus in dental structure is an indicator of a cariogenic biofilm. Photodynamic therapy is a technique that involves the activation of photosensitizers by light in the presence of oxygen, resulting in the production of reactive radicals capable of inducing cell death. Reduction of bacteria levels can provide additional means of preventing dental caries.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the influence of resin-based restorations on the interpretation of digital and conventional radiographic images and to correlate the proposed diagnosis with decision-making. Class II cavities were prepared in one of the proximal surfaces of extracted human molars. Teeth were divided into five groups (n = 10) according to the restoratives used: Natural Flow (NF) and Filtek Supreme (FS); Filtek Flow (FF) and FS; Tetric Flow (TF) and FS; Protect Liner F (PLF) and FS; and FS alone.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of two different concentrations (4 and 8 mg) of dexamethasone to decrease the swelling and trismus after the surgical extraction of mandibular impacted third molars.
Methods: This randomized clinical trial comprised thirty (30) adult patients of both genders with no local or systemic problems, with bilateral impacted lower third molars in similar position, where surgical extraction had been indicated. They were given 4 mg and 8 mg of dexamethasone 1 hour before the surgical procedure at the first or second surgery.
