Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of refractive index solutions on the color of different luting cements at different periods.
Materials And Methods: Fourteen disc-shaped specimens were prepared for three different universal shade luting cements. All specimens were divided into two groups and a phthalate ester and glycerol refractive index solution was applied to the specimens at different periods.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of tooth supported (TSD) and tooth-tissue supported (TTSD) removable partial denture wearing on pulpal blood flow (PBF) of the abutment teeth by using Laser Doppler Flowmeter (LDF). Measurements were carried out on 60 teeth of 28 patients (28 teeth and 12 patients of TTSD group, 32 teeth and 16 patients of TSD group) who had not worn any type of removable partial dentures before, had no systemic problems and were non smokers. PBF values were recorded by LDF before insertion (day 0) and after insertion of dentures at day 1, day 7 and day 30.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the color stability of soft denture liners and the effectiveness of denture cleansers on soft denture liners colored by food colorants in different time periods.
Materials And Methods: A plasticized acrylic resin soft liner (Viscogel) and a silicone-based soft liner (Mollosil) were used in this study. From each material 30 specimens (a total of 60 specimens) were prepared in a Teflon mold 15 mm in diameter and 3 mm thick.

Objective: This study was conducted to show dimensional and volumetric changes after vertical alveolar distraction osteogenesis using a three-dimensional computed tomography measurement method.
Materials: Four patients with mandibular alveolar ridge atrophy were evaluated. Three-dimensional computed tomography reconstructions were obtained 2 weeks before and 3 months after the operation.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) internal derangement and lateral pterygoid muscle (LPM) by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). In this study, 115 subjects with TMJ internal derangement (total 230 TMJs) and 21 subjects without clinical symptoms (total 42 TMJs) were included. TMJ disc position and LPM were evaluated using MRI.

Confusion about the relationship between dental occlusion and the temporomandibular disorders (TMD) has been evident in the literature for many years. Previous studies have supported the concept of a multifactorial aetiology of TMD, the occlusal factor in general being of minor importance. The purpose of the study was to investigate the relationship between condyle and disc positions and occlusal contacts on lateral excursions of the mandible in patients with TMD.

The purpose of this study was to correlate disc position and the type of disc displacement, intra-capsular effusion and degenerative changes of the condyle as demonstrated in MRI studies. In this study, 126 temporomandibular joints (TMJs) of 63 patients with TMJ disorders were investigated using clinical examination and MRI. One hundred and twelve TMJs were found to have internal derangement as disc displacement.

We studied 131 temporomandibular joints (TMJs) in 73 patients (56 women, 17 men) with internal derangement using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in addition to clinical examinations. The type of TMJ sounds correlated significantly with the degree of disc displacement. Rounded and folded disc deformities caused crepitus, which was a sign of the advanced stage of anterior disc displacement without reduction.

Mandibular osteomyelitis due to Actinomyces group is considered rare in the pediatric population. The initial complaint of the 4-year-old child described here was increased swelling of his cheek and pain. The patient was managed successfully by surgical treatment with antibiotic therapy.
