Dental avulsion, the complete displacement of a tooth from its socket, presents a significant challenge in dental practice due to its potential impact on aesthetics, function, and child well-being. This case presentation, reports the management of a traumatic dental avulsion in a 11-year-old male patient, detailing the clinical presentation, diagnostic process, treatment protocol, and follow-up outcomes. The case underscores the importance of prompt intervention for the avulsed tooth, and timely replantation to optimize treatment outcomes.

Introduction: Facemask(FM) is an orthopedic appliance with extraoral and intraoral anchoring units used in treatment of maxillary retrognathia. Aim of this study was to assess effects of tooth-supported FM application via fixed orthodontic appliances on craniofacial structures with finite element stress analysis.
Materials And Methods: A model was constructed on maxillary teeth with Roth brackets (0.

Background: Computer-aided design/manufacturing (CAD/CAM) materials are widely used in resin-bonded fixed partial dentures (RBFPDs), but their suitability across different designs has not been fully assessed. This study compares the stress distribution and failure probability of mandibular incisors restored by RBFPDs with various CAD/CAM materials.
Materials And Methods: Finite-element models of single- and double-ended RBFPDs were created using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) data.

This pilot two-arm, parallel group, randomized clinical trial aimed to compare the efficacy of tooth movement and patient comfort during orthodontic leveling and alignment with the BRIUS™ lingual system (BR) versus labial full fixed appliances (LFFAs). Patients in the permanent dentition with mild to moderate crowding were recruited at the University at Buffalo and randomly assigned into the BR group (seven patients) or LFFAs group (six patients). The patients' dental arches were scanned before bonding (T1) and after 18 weeks (T2).

Background: Reconstruction of maxillofacial defects is challenging due to the region's complex anatomy. During the COVID-19 era, many patients lost their maxilla and chewing efficiency as a result of Mucormycosis. In such cases, custom-designed implants offer a graftless solution for seemingly hopeless situations.

Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate the expression levels of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), Peroxiredoxin 1 (PRX1), glucose transporter 1 (GLUT1) and type I collagen (COL1) and the rate of tooth movement comparing 3 accelerated tooth movement (ATM) methods: Corticopuncture (CP), photobiomodulation (PBM) and the combined technique (CP + PBM) on days 1, 3, 7 and 14.
Methods: Orthodontic tooth movement was induced in 24 male Wistar rats. CP procedure included three perforations: two in the palate and one mesial to the molars.

Background: Orthodontic treatment in adults with thin periodontal phenotype presents challenges such as lengthy treatment time and increased risk for gingival recessions. In this case, surgically facilitated orthodontic treatment (SFOT) was proposed to accelerate orthodontic tooth movement while modifying the periodontal phenotype.
Methods: An orthodontic patient was referred for periodontal evaluation of lower anterior teeth, which presented a thin gingival phenotype and bone dehiscence.
