Malignant phyllodes, along with ductal carcinoma, is known as metaplastic cancer of the breast. This tumor is additionally known as breast carcinosarcoma. Malignant phyllodes in conjunction with ductal carcinoma is a rare finding in routine clinical practice.

Outlandish pancreatic pseudocyst: A case report.

Pseudocysts in the perinephric region are rare and pose a diagnostic dilemma. We present the case of a 54-year-old male with left perirenal pancreatic pseudocyst. The diagnosis was enabled via proper clinical history taking and imaging investigations.

Background Neonatal thrombocytopenia is one of the most common clinical entities encountered in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU); if not identified early, it can lead to significant morbidity and mortality. The aim of this study was to find out the etiological profile of neonatal thrombocytopenia in the NICU and to study the association between the etiology and onset of thrombocytopenia. Methods It was a single-center, cross-sectional, descriptive study of neonates having thrombocytopenia.

Chronic Tubercular Mediastinitis: A Rare Case Presentation With Subcutaneous Emphysema.

Tuberculosis, histoplasmosis, various fungal infections, malignancy, and sarcoidosis are the most common causes of chronic or slowly progressing mediastinitis. Chronic mediastinitis of tubercular origin with subcutaneous emphysema is exceptionally uncommon, and the majority of cases are caused by trauma. Here we report the case of a 35-year-old chronic alcoholic male who presented to the Outpatient Department (OPD) with complaints of cough, chest pain, loss of weight, and intermittent low-grade fever for three months with no significant past medical history or family history for any respiratory diseases.

Efficacy and Safety of Inosine Pranobex in COVID-19 Patients: A Multicenter Phase 3 Randomized Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Trial.

Inosine pranobex (IP), an immunomodulatory agent, is used in the treatment of various viral infections. The results of a phase 3 randomized controlled trial are reported, evaluating the efficacy and safety of IP in the treatment of mild to moderate COVID-19. It includes 416 symptomatic patients with confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection.
