Even though it is rare, herpes simplex virus (HSV) esophagitis has a significant adverse impact on immunocompromised people, such as those with HIV, cancer patients receiving chemotherapy or radiation to the neck, and recipients of transplants receiving immunosuppressive treatments. This makes a high level of clinical suspicion necessary for a precise diagnosis and successful treatment. Although rare, its occurrence in immunocompetent patients poses unique challenges for diagnosis and therapy.

Introduction: Colistin is used to treat hospital-acquired pneumonia and ventilator-associated pneumonia. However, direct drug deposition at the site of infection may improve its efficacy and reduce systemic exposure. The aim of this study was to assess the safety and tolerability of nebulized colistin among Indian patients diagnosed with pneumonia caused by multidrug-resistant gram-negative bacilli in real-world settings.

Cranioplasty involves the surgical reconstruction of cranial defects arising as a result of various factors, including decompressive craniectomy, cranial malformations, and brain injury due to road traffic accidents. Most of the modern decompressive craniectomies (DC) warrant a future cranioplasty surgery within 6-36 months. The conventional process of capturing the defect impression and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) flap fabrication results in a misfit or misalignment at the site of implantation.

Vitamin deficiency is common in the geriatric population and is responsible for majorly imbalanced hematological, neurological, and neuropsychiatric functioning. Methylcobalamin deficiency or vitamin B deficiency can be underestimated in some cases and be misdiagnosed as other illnesses, such as thalamic syndrome. Timely diagnosis of this deficiency is essential, especially in the geriatric population, as it might cause irreversible structural brain damage.

Introduction: Oxygen saturation is essential for medical care and is closely regulated within the body. Arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis is used to evaluate critically ill individuals' ventilation, oxygenation, acid-base status, and metabolic condition. Pulse oximetry is an easy and non-invasive way to measure the status of oxygen saturation non-invasively in clinical settings and provides a quick and precise assessment of oxygenation and reduces medical errors.

Background Individuals with overweight and obesity (OW/OB) have poor performance in weight-bearing exercises, resulting in low functional capacity. The dynamic neuromuscular stabilization (DNS) technique was created to engage the core-postural chain in conjunction with the core muscles, generating enough intra-abdominal pressure to dynamically support the spine through muscular activity. DNS is a strategy that emphasizes the activation of the spine's intrinsic stabilizers, as well as proper breathing patterns, before any intended functional movement.
