Very late-onset schizophrenia-like psychosis (VLOSLP) is still a paradox; certain characteristics such as episodic progression of psychosis including delusions and hallucinations involving various modalities, as well as the absence of negative symptoms, are strongly predictive of VLOSLP. We describe an interesting case of a 61-year-old male who presented with a second episode of psychosis along with mild to moderate cognitive impairment like having difficulty in buttoning for over eight months at our tertiary care hospital. Previously, during the first episode, he was treated by a private practitioner; adequate doses for an adequate duration of two atypical antipsychotics were given; and up to 25% global improvement was reported by the caregiver.

An unusual presentation of penile fracture with complete transection of urethra: a case report.

Penile fracture is one such urologic emergency that occurs when the penis is struck bluntly during sexual activity, and in less than 5-10% of cases, the concurrent urethral damage is evident, but complete transection is very rare. A 37-year-old male presented with a history of 'snap' sound and immediate detumescence of penis during intercourse, when he fell and hit the pubic bone of his partner. There was acute retention of urine, an attempt to pass a catheter failed and the patient underwent supra-pubic catheterization.

Providing optimal care in the neonatal care units in India: How Covid-19 exacerbated existing barriers.

Nearly one quarter (600,000) of all neonatal deaths worldwide per year occur in India. To reduce neonatal mortality, the Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare established neonatal care units, including neonatal intensive care units and specialized neonatal care units to provide immediate care at birth, resuscitation for asphyxiation, postnatal care, follow up for high-risk newborns, immunization, and referral for additional or complex healthcare services. Despite these efforts, neonatal mortality remains high, and measures taken to reduce mortality have been severely challenged by multiple problems caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Unusual Presentation of a Giant Cell Tumor of the Bone: A Case Report.

Bone giant cell tumors (GCTs) are rare, non-cancerous tumors that mostly affect the meta-epiphyseal region of long bones in the legs and arms. We are reporting a case of GCT of bone of a 14-year-old male; it usually occurs in the age group of 20-40 years. The presence of multinucleated giant cells and stromal cells in the proximal diaphysis of the left tibia serves as a distinguishing characteristic.

Pandemic treaty as an instrument to strengthen global health security: Global health diplomacy at its crux.

Background: The World Health Assembly (WHA), on 1 December 2021, unanimously agreed to launch a global process to draft and negotiate a convention, agreement, or other international instrument under the World Health Organization's (WHO's) constitution to strengthen pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response. We aimed to explore the role of global health diplomacy (GHD) in pandemic treaty negotiations by providing deep insight into the ongoing drafting process under the WHO leadership.

Methods: We conducted a narrative review by searching Scopus, Web of Sciences, PubMed, MEDLINE, and Google Scholar search engine using the keywords "Pandemic Treaty," OR "International Health Regulations," OR "International conventions," OR "International treaties" in the context of recent COVID-19 pandemic.

Spinal Cord Infarction Thrombolysed at Seven Hours: A Case Report and Review of Literature.

We report a case of acute spinal cord infarction treated with intravenous (IV) thrombolysis at seven hours from symptom onset. Nineteen previously thrombolysed cases are reviewed. The patient underwent a clinical assessment, followed by an MRI of the spine.

A 25-year-old man with a medical record of migraines presented with progressively worsening episodes of dizziness and constant right-sided neck and facial pain, each lasting for hours over a month. The increased pain frequency and lack of response to abortive treatment were not typical of his migraines. Investigation for an alternate cause of the patient's symptoms with an MRI revealed evidence of trigeminal neuralgia (TN).

Introduction: Colistin is used to treat hospital-acquired pneumonia and ventilator-associated pneumonia. Acute Necrotizing Pancreatitis Presenting as Gastrocolic Fistula: A Rare Occurrence.

Tissue necrosis and ischemia are hallmarks of acute necrotizing pancreatitis, which frequently results in fatal infections. In this case, we describe a man in his 40s who had diffuse pain in the abdomen, intractable vomiting, diarrhoea, and intermittent fever. His abdominal computed tomography revealed acute pancreatitis with peripancreatic fluid collection, gastric perforation, and fistula formation between the greater curvature of the stomach and transverse colon.

p53, Cytokeratin 19 Expression in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Correlation with Histopathologic Grading: An Immunohistochemical Study.
