Objective: To assess the efficacy and safety of iguratimod (IGU) in the treatment of inflammatory arthritis and degenerative arthritis.
Methods: Initially, randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on using IGU in treating inflammatory arthritis and degenerative arthritis were systematically gathered from various databases up to February 2024. Subsequently, two researchers independently screened the literature, extracted data, assessed the risk of bias in included studies, and conducted a meta-analysis using RevMan 5.

BLyS and APRIL have the capability to bind to B cells within the body, allowing these cells to evade elimination when they should naturally be removed. While BLyS primarily plays a role in B cell development and maturation, APRIL is linked to B cell activation and the secretion of antibodies. Thus, in theory, inhibiting BLyS or APRIL could diminish the population of aberrant B cells that contribute to SLE and reduce disease activity in patients.

Objective: To explore the effect of Gouqi Nuzhen Liuhe Decoction (GNLHD) on the PI3K/mTOR Signaling Pathway for Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI) based on system pharmacology.
Methods: First, the system pharmacology approach was used to predict the mechanism of GNLHD. Then, mice were randomly divided into model group, positive group, GNLHD high-dose group, GNLHD medium-dose group, and GNLHD low-dose group.

Autoimmune diseases commonly affect various systems, but their etiology and pathogenesis remain unclear. Currently, increasing research has highlighted the role of ferroptosis in immune regulation, with immune cells being a crucial component of the body's immune system. This review provides an overview and discusses the relationship between ferroptosis, programmed cell death in immune cells, and autoimmune diseases.

Introduction: Cardiovascular disease nursing is a critical clinical application that necessitates real-time monitoring models. Previous models required the use of multi-lead signals and could not be customized as needed. Traditional methods relied on manually designed supervised algorithms, based on empirical experience, to identify waveform abnormalities and classify diseases, and were incapable of monitoring and alerting abnormalities in individual waveforms.

This study aimed to explore the effects of miR-129-5p on inflammation and nucleus pulposus (NP) cell apoptosis in rats with intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD) through the c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) signaling pathway. A total of 20 rats were randomly divided into control group (n=10) or IVDD group (n=10). The mRNA expressions of miR-129-5p and apoptosis index Fas in IVDD tissues were determined using RT-PCR.

To observe the therapeutic effect of PD-1 inhibitors on driver-gene mutation negative advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (nsNSCLC) and the role of the AGEs-RAGE system in the disease, provide more reliable treatment for future nsNSCLC patients. In this study, we selected 130 nsNSCLC patients admitted between January 2021 and April 2022 were selected as the study subjects, 61 of whom received pemetrexed plus carboplatin (control group) and 69 received PD-1 inhibitors, pemetrexed and carboplatin (research group). The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared, and the prognostic survival time was calculated.

We investigated expression of the protein human bone marrow endothelial cell marker-1 (HBME-1) in differentiated thyroid carcinoma tissues, and analyzed its correlation with ultrasonic manifestation of thyroid. The immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining method was used to measure the expression of HBME-1 in patient with nodular goiter (control group), papillary differentiated thyroid carcinoma (papillary carcinoma group) and follicular differentiated thyroid carcinoma (follicular carcinoma group) to investigate the differences in expression of HBME-1. We further analyzed the correlation of the expression of HBME-1 in the papillary carcinoma group and the follicular carcinoma group with ultrasonic manifestation of thyroid.

In this study, we examined the association between soy isoflavones and lipid profiles, apolipoprotein levels in patients with type 2 diabetes in China. The study population was composed of 120 cases (80 women with type 2 diabetes and 40 healthy women). Objects in treatment group received isoflavones 435 mg/day for 2 months, then lipid profiles were analyzed by the colorimetry method and apolipoprotein levels were determined by immune turbidimetric method.

Background: Acupuncture is one of the important parts of therapeutic methods in traditional Chinese medicine, and has been widely used for the treatment of nerve deafness in recent years. The current study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of acupuncture therapy for nerve deafness compared with conventional medicine therapy.
Methods: PubMed, the Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure Database, the Chinese Science and Technology Periodical Database, the Chinese Biomedical Database, the Wanfang Database were searched for articles published to identify randomized controlled trials evaluating efficacy and side effects between acupuncture and conventional medicine therapies up to 2013/06.
