Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a deadly and aggressive type of cancer that has a high fatality rate. The expression levels of replication factor C subunit 3 (RFC3) and kinesin family member 14 (KIF14) have been reported to be increased in CRC. The current study aimed to explore the effects of RFC3 on the malignant behaviors of CRC cells and its possible underlying mechanism involving KIF14.

Objective: The stability of fractures of the middle and lower 1/3 of the displaced humeral shaft is poor, and surgery is currently the main treatment. The posterolateral approach to the upper arm has many advantages but it is not widely used in clinical applications. The aim of the study was to investigate the clinical effect of open reduction and internal fixation with a steel plate through the triceps approach in the treatment of fractures of the middle and lower 1/3 of the humerus.

Objective: To analyze the expression characteristics of osteoporosis-related genes by bioinformatics and elucidate the pathogenesis of osteoporosis.

Methods: The differentially expressed genes (DEGs), microRNA (miRNA), and genes with differentially methylated regions (DMRS) in promoters were identified. The protein-protein interaction (PPI) network was constructed and performed.

Osteoporosis is a serious bone metabolism disease. Recent studies have shown that MYC could promote the formation of osteoclasts. Evidence has also shown that miR-320a could injure osteoblasts by inducing oxidative stress.

The purpose of this study was to elucidate the role that the miR-18a-5p/THBD regulatory pathway plays in endometrial cancer (EC), which could provide a theoretical basis for potential therapeutic targets. Differentially expressed genes in EC tissue and normal tissue were determined by bioinformatics analysis. Quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) was used to compare the expression of miR-18a-5p and THBD mRNA in normal human endometrial cells and human EC cells.
