Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) are critical components in the therapeutic landscape, but their dosing strategies often evolve post-approval as new data emerge. This review evaluates post-marketing label changes in dosing information for FDA-approved mAbs from January 2015 to September 2024, with a focus on both initial and extended indications. We systematically analyzed dosing modifications, categorizing them into six predefined groups: Dose increases or decreases, inclusion of new patient populations by body weight or age, shifts from body weight-based dosing to fixed regimens, and adjustments in infusion rates.

Sarcopenia is a disease characterized by decreased muscle fibers and mass. Although it mainly affects the older adults, it can also occur in various age groups as a secondary effect of medications used for treating certain diseases, such as cancer and diabetes. With population aging, sarcopenia has drawn significant attention owing to its increasing prevalence.

This study investigated how acute bouts of aerobic exercise versus yoga affect inhibitory control differently in smokers with nicotine dependence depending on the presence of depressive symptoms. Thirty adult smokers were equally divided into a depressed smoker group and a non-depressed smoker group based on their Beck Depression Inventory scores. Each participant underwent baseline measurements, a 30-minute aerobic exercise session, and a 30-minute yoga session on different days.

Rare endocrine diseases are complex conditions that require lifelong specialized care due to their chronic nature and associated long-term complications. In Korea, a lack of nationwide data on clinical practice and outcomes has limited progress in patient care. Therefore, the Multicenter Networks for Ideal Outcomes of Pediatric Rare Endocrine and Metabolic Disease (OUTSPREAD) study was initiated.

Nowadays, consent to use donor bodies for medical education and research is obtained from the body donors and their families before the donation. Recently, the International Federation of Associations of Anatomists (IFAA) published guidelines that could restrict the appearance of cadaveric images in commercial anatomical resources such as textbooks and other educational products. These guidelines state that the donor must expressly consent to using such images for this purpose.

Backgrounds And Objectives: The distal radial access (DRA), a potential alternative to the trans-radial approach (TRA), may offer advantages in terms of access site complications due to its smaller vessel diameter, especially for high bleeding risk (HBR) patients. This study aims to investigate the feasibility of DRA in HBR patients.
Methods: Based on data from the KODRA registry, a prospective, multicenter cohort, this study analyzed 1,586 patients who underwent successful percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) via DRA.

Purpose: Fentanyl, a highly lipophilic opioid, was developed as a sublingual fentanyl tablet (SFT) for the management of breakthrough cancer pain (BTcP), and its efficacy and safety were confirmed in a randomized, controlled study. We investigated the effectiveness and safety of SFT administered to alleviate BTcP in a real-world setting.
Materials And Methods: In this prospective, open, single-cohort study, conducted in 13 referral hospitals in South Korea, opioid-tolerant cancer patients receiving around-the-clock opioids for persistent cancer pain were enrolled if the individual had BTcP ≥ 1 episode/day during the preceding week.

Introduction: The combination of hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers and polydioxanone (PDO) thread lifting is gaining popularity for mid-face rejuvenation, especially among the Asian population. Despite the common use of these techniques, there is a paucity of long-term studies assessing their combined efficacy and safety. This study aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of combined HA filler and PDO thread treatment for mid-face rejuvenation over a 24-month period in a Korean population.

Background: Caregiver burden significantly affects both patients and caregivers but is often overlooked in clinical practice. Physical and emotional strain on caregivers can compromise the quality of care. Care robots are emerging as solutions to alleviate these burdens by assisting with routine tasks, thereby reducing caregivers' physical strain and stress.

The chemiresistive gas-sensing properties of pristine CoS film are little known despite its potential as a promising gas sensor material due to its intrinsic characteristics. In this study, a pristine polycrystalline CoS film (approximately 440 nm in thickness) is fabricated by depositing a CoO film followed by sulfidation to investigate its gas-sensing properties. The prepared CoS film sensor is found to exhibit high responsiveness towards formaldehyde (HCHO), ethanol (CHOH), and hydrogen sulfide (HS) at operating temperatures of 300 °C and 400 °C, with strong concentration dependence.

Video exposure is known to affect brain function, yet its impact on neurodevelopmental processes remains unclear. This study aimed to investigate whether exposure to a video depicting social behavior induces behavioral and neurological changes in socially isolated mice. On Postnatal Day (PND) 21, male mice were separated from their dams and randomly assigned to three groups: socially grouped mice; socially isolated mice (ISO), where mice were housed without any social stimulation; and social video-exposed mice (SVE), where mice were exposed to a social video played on a tablet from PND21 to PND56 under socially isolated conditions.

Predicting drug-target interactions (DTIs) with precision is a crucial challenge in the quest for efficient and cost-effective drug discovery. Existing DTI prediction models often require significant computational resources because of the intricate and exceptionally lengthy protein target sequences. This study introduces MMF-DTI, a lightweight model that uses multimodal fusion, to improve the generalizability of DTI predictions without sacrificing computational efficiency.

SORT1 (sortilin 1), a member of the the Vps10 (vacuolar protein sorting 10) family, is involved in hepatic lipid metabolism by regulating very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) secretion and facilitating the lysosomal degradation of CES1 (carboxylesterase 1), crucial for triglyceride (TG) breakdown in the liver. This study explores whether SORT1 is targeted for degradation by chaperone-mediated autophagy (CMA), a selective protein degradation pathway that directs proteins containing KFERQ-like motifs to lysosomes via LAMP2A (lysosomal-associated membrane protein 2A). Silencing LAMP2A or HSPA8/Hsc70 with siRNA increased cytosolic SORT1 protein levels.
