A major concern cited by bail reform opponents is that reducing pretrial detention will increase community violence, particularly violence against women. Feasibility and acceptability of multiple methods of recording injecting drug use episode data among people who inject drugs in Melbourne, Australia: a pilot evaluation study protocol.

Introduction: Opioid overdose and blood-borne virus transmission are key health risks for people who inject drugs. Existing study methods that record data on injecting drug risks mostly rely on retrospective self-reporting that, while valid, are limited to being broad and subject to recall bias. Floodplain forests harbor a unique tree species assemblage adapted to flooding and specialized fauna, including fruit-eating fish that migrate seasonally into floodplains, favoring expansive floodplain areas. Frugivorous fish are forest-dependent fauna critical to forest regeneration via seed dispersal and support commercial and artisanal fisheries.

Quantifying the Impact of Soil Moisture Sensor Measurements in Determining Green Stormwater Infrastructure Performance.

The ability to track moisture content using soil moisture sensors in green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) systems allows us to understand the system's water management capacity and recovery. Soil moisture sensors have been used to quantify infiltration and evapotranspiration in GSI practices both preceding, during, and following storm events. Although useful, soil-specific calibration is often needed for soil moisture sensors, as small measurement variations can result in misinterpretation of the water budget and associated GSI performance.

Variations and Asymmetry in Sacral Ventral Rami Contributions to the Bladder.

We have demonstrated in human cadavers and canines that nerve transfer to bladder vesical nerve branches is technically feasible for bladder reinnervation after nerve injury. We further clarify here that sacral (S) ventral rami contribute to these vesical branches in 36 pelvic sides (in 22 human cadavers). Gross post-mortem visualization and open anterior abdominal approaches were used, as was micro-CT of sacral nerve bundles, for further confirmation when needed.

Background: We assessed access to pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and interest in integration of PrEP with gender-affirmative care in a global sample of transmasculine persons.

Methods: Transmasculine persons (N = 590) aged 18 years and above from 57 countries completed a brief online survey from April to July 2022 about sexual behavior, knowledge, and interest in PrEP, current access to PrEP and gender-affirmative care, and preferred context for accessing PrEP. Descriptive analyses were stratified by country income group.
