Left main coronary artery embolization in an 11-year-old girl due to inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor of the mitral valve.

This report describes a rare case of a subtotal left main coronary artery occlusion from mitral valve tumor embolization in an 11-year-old African American girl. This case is the first to report isolated ST segment elevation in lead aVR as a sign of a subtotal left main coronary artery occlusion in the pediatric population. In our case, we report a rare case of inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor of the mitral valve presenting with acute myocardial infarction due to embolization into the left main coronary artery.
