A phyllodes tumor (PT) is a biphasic fibroepithelial lesion that is most commonly found in breast tissue, whereas it is uncommon in ureter tissue. Only one case has been documented so far. There are some similarities in histology and clinical characteristics between this type of tumor and PT of the female breast: the lesions can be surgically removed, but some recur locally and invade directly into the breast.

Background: Phyllodes tumors (PTs) are breast neoplasms with varying degrees of malignancy, posing challenges in diagnosis and management. This case report focuses on a rare case of malignant phyllodes tumor of the breast (MPTB) in a 35-year-old woman.
Case Description: This case report presents a complex scenario of a patient with extensive breast abnormalities, including a malignant PT in the left breast, ductal carcinoma in both breasts, with axillary lymph node involvement.

Fibroadenomas are benign breast tumors, typically affecting middle-aged women, with rapid growth in some cases leading to compression of surrounding structures and presenting a clinical challenge. This case illustrates the successful use of thoracic spinal anesthesia (TSA) for excising a large fibroadenoma with characteristics suggestive of a phyllodes tumor, a procedure traditionally conducted under general anesthesia (GA). The anesthesia was administered using 1.

Introduction: Phyllodes tumors (PTs) of the breast are rare fibroepithelial neoplasms, accounting for less than 1% of all breast tumors. The WHO classifies PTs into benign, borderline, or malignant categories based on histological features. While benign PTs generally have a favorable prognosis, they carry a risk of transformation into malignant variants, particularly in cases of recurrence.

Most lesions found in the mammary glands of cats are malignant, with aggressive behavior and unfavorable prognosis. Studies on the epidemiologic and clinicopathological characteristics of mammary lesions in cats are scarce. The present study aimed to evaluate those characteristics and to correlate them with survival in cats.

Breast phyllodes tumors are rare mesenchymal tumors, often accompanied by internal cysts, hemorrhages, infarctions, and necrosis. The tumor exhibits rapid growth, especially when infarct necrosis occurs within the tumor. In the current report, we showed a woman in her 50s who noticed a rapidly growing breast mass and received an excisional biopsy diagnosis of a phyllodes tumor with hemorrhagic infarction.

Phyllodes tumor is a rare and particular type of breast tumor with features of stromal hyperplasia and malignant potential. The present case is an unusual presentation of a phyllodes tumor with pseudoangiomatous stromal hyperplasia (PASH) which forms an essential part of benign breast disease but is not frequently described in association with phyllodes tumor. A 36-year-old female patient was referred to the hospital with a large breast mass considered to be a benign growth.

Fibroadenoma is a type of benign tumor that occurs in breast tissues, commonly in younger age groups. However, the presentation of the patient described below shows how the disease presents in various manners. A 52-year-old woman presented to the outpatient clinic with a unilateral, giant, left-sided fungating breast mass who was later admitted under the General Surgical team, at Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) for further corresponding diagnostic workup.

Phyllodes tumors (PT) are fibroepithelial neoplasms that are treated by complete surgical excision. The effectiveness of adjuvant therapies, including radiotherapy and chemotherapy, for PT remains unclear, and the use of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) is yet to be established. We report a case of a 15-year-old girl with acute lymphatic leukemia (ALL) who was incidentally diagnosed with a 50-mm borderline PT in the left breast using computed tomography, ultrasonography, and histological examination following needle biopsy.

Rationale: Giant phyllodes tumors are rare fibroepithelial neoplasms, accounting for less than 1% of all primary breast tumors. Their main features are a single-round mass, progressive enlargement, and a high rate of local recurrence. A phyllodes tumor measuring more than 10 cm in diameter is usually defined as a "giant" tumor.

Numerous clinicopathological features have been examined as predictive factors for adverse outcomes in patients with phyllodes tumor (PT) of the breast, but there are still no definitive predictive markers to guide management, despite the persistent risk of recurrence, even in benign disease. Whether Ki67 has prognostic value in PT remains uncertain. Therefore, a systematic review and meta-analysis were performed to examine whether Ki67 is associated with adverse clinical outcomes, particularly recurrence, in patients with PT.

Introduction: Giant phyllodes tumors are fibroepithelial lesions whose diameters exceed 10 cm. Core biopsy represents the best diagnostic method in order to distinct fibroadenomas from phyllodes tumors. Wide surgical resection with clear margins is the standard of treatment.

Unlabelled: This study of the features of the biochemical composition of biological fluids in patients with breast cancer, including saliva, allows us to identify some indicators as metabolic predictors of the presence of the disease.
Objectives: to study the influence of the menopause factor and body mass index (BMI) on the biochemical composition of saliva and to evaluate the applicability of metabolic markers of saliva for the diagnosis of breast cancer.
Methods: The case-control study involved 1438 people (breast cancer, = 543; fibroadenomas, = 597; control, = 298).

Lobular carcinoma in situ (LCIS) with microinvasion is a rare entity which is rarely reported in the literature. We describe a case of microinvasive LCIS following excision of a fibroepithelial lesion. The lesion was graded as U3 and M3 on ultrasonography and mammography respectively, and on core needle biopsy was described as a fibroepithelial lesion with 'unusual features'.

The co-existence of breast carcinoma in the form of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) in a case of Phyllodes tumor (PT) is extremely rare. We present a case of a pre-menopausal lady with a large breast lump diagnosed as benign PT on her initial biopsy. Wide local excision and breast conservation with round block oncoplasty were done.
