Efficient thermal management is crucial for optimizing the performance and longevity of automotive engines, particularly as environmental regulations become more stringent and consumer demand for fuel efficiency increases. This paper investigates the energy and exergy performance of a wavy fin-and-tube radiator employing novel ternary nanofluids (TNFs) for enhanced automotive cooling. A theoretical comparative analysis was performed on four distinct ethylene glycol-water solution-based TNF configurations.

Currently, available therapies for diabetes cannot achieve normal sugar values in a high percentage of treated patients. This work synthesized a series of carbazole-triazole-thione derivatives, and their potential antidiabetic activity was investigated against the key diabetic enzymes α-amylase and glycosidase. Normal human hepatic stellate cells (LX-2) were employed to assess their cytotoxicity and safety, followed by in vivo testing to investigate the hypoglycemic effect of the most promising agent.

Background: Obstetric violence (OBV), defined as mistreatment or abuse during childbirth, is a pervasive global issue, albeit with regional differences, affecting women's physical and emotional well-being.
Objectives: The purpose of this systematic review and meta-analysis is to assess the prevalence of OBV to identify risk factors associated with OBV and to make suggestions for improving maternal healthcare practices and policies.
Search Strategy: In a systematic review and meta-analysis, we searched four electronic databases for studies published over 10 years up to 31 January 2024: Medline (PubMed), Scopus, Embase, and Web of Science (WOS).

The study of road traffic injuries (RTIs) is crucial for understanding the unique challenges faced by West Asia and North Africa (WANA) states. This research evaluates road safety practices in the WANA region, comparing them to global standards, and employs secondary data analysis from sources such as the Global Road Safety Status Report, Global Road Safety Facility, and the World Health Organization. The analysis examines epidemiological data, preventive measures like seatbelt and child-restraint use, and policy development, including national action plans, to estimate road traffic death rates per 10,000 vehicles and per 100,000 population.

Introduction: Pathogenic variants in several genes encoding components of the mitochondrial respiratory chain have been linked to various clinical phenotypes such as progressive cavitating leukoencephalopathy (PCL). The association between PCL, previously linked to numerous gene mutations in the literature, and the gene mutations has emerged as a recent and noteworthy discovery. PCL is generally diagnosed in symptomatic patients during the early years of life, mostly in infancy.
