Clinical outcomes after 2-year follow-up of transvaginal radiofrequency ablation of symptomatic uterine fibroids.

Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy after 2 years follow-up of transvaginal radiofrequency ablation (TVRA) to treat myomas, and to identify factors predictive of the response to the treatment.

Methods: This is a prospective cohort study of a 2-year follow-up of 65 patients who underwent TVRA for the treatment uterine fibroids at Virgen de las Nieves University Hospital in Granada, Spain. Ultrasound mean fibroid volume, symptom severity scale, total bleeding days, complications, pregnancy outcomes were recorded.

Is auditor financial decision-making affected by prior audit report information? A behavioral approach.

The role of financial experts is to provide their professional judgments with an opinion included in the financial reports after reviewing an entity's financial information, following a specific audit process. We investigate whether confirmation bias (through prior audit opinions) occurs among auditors during the audit process and decision-making, and whether experience mitigates this effect. A total of 175 non-experienced auditors run a 2x4 between-subjects experiment (experiment 1) studying how financial information (IV with two levels: negative and neutral/positive) and previous audit report (IV with four levels: absence, negative, moderately negative, and positive) might influence the issuance of the subsequent decision-making (DV).

The Proposition for Bipolar Depression Forecasting Based on Wearable Data Collection.

Bipolar depression is treated wrongly as unipolar depression, on average, for 8 years. It is shown that this mismedication affects the occurrence of a manic episode and aggravates the overall condition of patients with bipolar depression. Significant effort was invested in early detection of depression and forecasting of responses to certain therapeutic approaches using a combination of features extracted from standard and online testing, wearables monitoring, and machine learning.

The role of novel instruments of brand communication and brand image in building consumers' brand preference and intention to visit wineries.

Unlabelled: This research aims to analyze brand communication and brand image as specific drivers of wine brand preference and their influence on wine consumers' intention to visit associated wineries. Specifically, this paper enhances the understanding of the roles of advertising-promotion, sponsorship-public relations, corporate social responsibility, and social media in brand communication, as well as functional, emotional and reputation components in brand image development in the context of wine tourism industry. Data was collected through a structured and self-administered questionnaire from 486 visitors to wineries in Spain.
