Investigation of Head Lice and Intestinal Parasites in Primary and Secondary School in Sivas.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence of intestinal parasites and head lice in primary school-aged children and to determine a possible relationship between the co-occurrence of ecto-endoparasites.

Methods: The study were conducted in three schools in the center of Sivas: Sivas Karşıyaka Primary School, Kılavuz İMKB Primary School, and Karşıyaka 27 June Middle School. The presence of head lice and intestinal parasites was investigated in a total of 563 children aged 6 to 17, with 294 girls and 269 boys.

Evaluation of the contralateral hemisphere with DWI in pediatric patients with Dyke-Davidoff-Masson syndrome.

Introduction: Dyke-Davidoff-Masson Syndrome (DDMS) is a clinical syndrome that causes different clinical symptoms and is defined by volume decrement in one cerebral hemisphere. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the involvement of the normal-appearing contralateral hemisphere in 16 pediatric patients with DDMS using diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI).

The purpose of the study was to investigate the anti- IgM and anti- IgG seropositivity with the ELISA method in people who have cats at home and do not have cats at home, and to reveal the possible relationship between toxoplasmosis and people who keep/contact cats for a long time for any reason at home.

Investigation of the Precence of and spp. in Patients Who Undergone Endoscopy and Colonoscopy.

Objective: In this study, it was aimed to investigate the presence of and spp. in the samples taken during the procedure from patients who underwent endoscopy and/or colonoscopy with different prediagnoses, and in the stools of the same patients, by ELISA and direct microscopy methods.

Methods: A total of 88 patients' endoscopic and colonoscopic pre-washed materials, which consisted of 49 individuals who belong former group and 39 individuals to the next group, were, respectively, obtained, and the stool samples were also included to study from the same group.

Endocervical polyps in high risk human papillomavirus infections.

Objectives: Human papillomavirus (HPV) positive patients with and without endocervical polyps is compared with respect to HPV genotypes and presence of pre-invasive diseases. To our knowledge, this is the first and largest report in the literature examining the endocervical polyps in HPV positive cases.

Material And Methods: Clinicopathological data for the first one million screening patients (n = 1060 992) from around the entire country during 2015 and 2016 were targeted for this research.

Factors Affecting the Prevalence of House Dust Mite in Tekirdağ and İstanbul Provinces in Comparison with House Dust Mite Population of Sivas Province During the Same Period.

Objective: This study aimed to examine the frequency of house dust mite according to various variables and determine the house dust mite population in these provinces in house dust samples collected in the same period from İstanbul and Tekirdağ provinces, which is located on the coastal part of the Marmara Region, and Sivas province, which has different climatic and geographic characteristics from these provinces. A comparison was done from each province.

Methods: Between May and August 2018, a total of 100 powder samples were prepared by a lactic acid precipitation method that was examined microscopically.

The aim of this study was to investigate the feasibility of FDG-PET/CT imaging to detect pulmonary artery atherosclerosis and to assess the correlation between pulmonary function testing (PFT) results and the overall pulmonary artery metabolic activity. The study was conducted to determine the validity and reliability of the tool used to assess nurses' attitudes towards futility, and to explore intensive-care nurses' attitudes towards futility. Objective: This retrospective descriptive study aimed to investigate organochlorine compounds in women who breastfeed and work as a seasonal agricultural worker (SAW).

Methods: It was carried out on 100 woman working as SAW.
