No-reflow phenomenon (NRP) is an undesirable result of coronary interventions, and usually occurred during the primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI). On the other hand, there is growing evidence of epidemiological studies suggest that serum 25 hydroxy-vitamin D (25(OH)D3) level is significantly associated with cardiovascular mortality and morbidity. Article Synopsis
  • Ultrasound elastography is increasingly used in diagnosing the stiffness of breast tissues to differentiate between benign and malignant masses.
  • A study of 163 breast lesions evaluated the effectiveness of strain elastography (SE), shear wave elastography (SWE), and point shear wave elastography (STQ) alongside traditional B-mode ultrasound.
  • The findings revealed that all elastography methods performed better in diagnostic accuracy and predictive value compared to B-mode ultrasound alone, with high specificity and sensitivity rates in identifying breast lesions.

Purpose: This cohort aimed to determine the efficacy and safety of abdominal ulrasonography and cine-MRI by a double-blind study in the diagnosis of intraabdominal organs and abdominal wall adhesions in patients with previous abdominal operations.

Methods: Between 2017 and 2019, 108 consecutive patients were prospectively included in the study. Visceral slide and induced visceral slide were measured during AU and cine-MRI.
