Background: The use of multiagent FOLFIRINOX chemotherapy for pancreatic adenocarcinoma in a neoadjuvant setting has been associated with an increased rate of complete pathological response (CPR) after surgery. This study investigated the long-term outcomes of patients with CPR in a multicenter setting to identify prognostic factors for overall survival (OS) and recurrence-free survival (RFS).
Methods: This retrospective cohort study examined biopsy-proven pancreatic adenocarcinomas with CPR after neoadjuvant chemotherapy or chemoradiotherapy and surgery, between January 2006 and December 2023 across 22 French and 2 Belgian centers.

Background: In asthma, obesity status is associated with poor control and high exacerbation rates. The primary objective was to determine the effect of bariatric surgery (BS) on asthma control and exacerbations.
Methods: Retrospective study with a 3-year cohort of obese patients before and after BS: a baseline period (P0) covering the 12 months before BS and P1 and P2 periods covering the first and second years after BS, respectively.

Introduction: Atezolizumab plus bevacizumab significantly improved overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) versus sorafenib in patients with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in IMbrave150. Efficacy and safety in patient subpopulations with Vp4 portal vein tumor thrombosis (PVTT) and other high-risk prognostic factors are reported.
Methods: IMbrave150 was a global, randomized (2:1), open-label, phase 3 study in systemic treatment-naive patients with unresectable HCC; OS and PFS were co-primary endpoints.

Introduction: Neovascular age-related macular degeneration is a global public-health concern, associated with a considerable burden to individuals, healthcare systems, and society. The objective of this study was to understand different perspectives on the challenges associated with the clinical management of neovascular age-related macular degeneration, which could elucidate measures to comprehensively improve clinical care and outcomes.
Methods: A survey was carried out of patients with neovascular age-related macular degeneration, their providers, and clinic staff in 77 clinics across 24 countries on six continents, from a diverse range of healthcare systems, settings, and reimbursement models.

Aim: The aim of this French study was to determine the neonatal morbidity, mortality and neurodevelopmental outcomes when infants born at the limit of viability reached 2 years of corrected age. We then compared the results with national and international cohorts.
Methods: This study focused on 294 French infants born from 22 to 25 weeks of gestation in a single tertiary perinatal centre from January 2010 to December 2019.

Aims: To identify baseline characteristics that best correlate to treatment interval for naive neovascular age-related macular degeneration patients treated with faricimab in the first year (Y1) of the TENAYA and LUCERNE phase 3 trials, and to further understand how these characteristics may impact treatment intervals.
Methods: This post-hoc analysis of Y1 data from the TENAYA and LUCERNE trials evaluated ocular baseline characteristics associated with Y1 treatment intervals. Patients were categorised into three subgroups based on their Y1 treatment interval: Q16W, Q12W or Q8W.

Infectious and toxicological risks are the main potential hazards that operators of Human Milk Banks (HMBs) encounter and must eliminate. HMBs are trying to implement procedures that allow to manage and sanitize human milk without altering significantly its nutritional and biologically protective components, obtaining a product characterized by a valid balance between safety and biological quality. The history of human milk processing is linked to the origins of HMBs themselves.

Study Question: Is increasing the intensity of high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) by 30% in the treatment of rectal endometriosis a safe procedure?
Summary Answer: This study demonstrates the safety of a 30% increase in the intensity of HIFU in the treatment of rectal endometriosis, with no Clavien-Dindo Grade III complications overall, and namely no rectovaginal fistulae.
What Is Known Already: A feasibility study including 20 patients with rectal endometriosis demonstrated, with no severe complications, a significant improvement in digestive disorders, dysmenorrhoea, dyspareunia, and health status, although the volume of the endometriosis nodule did not appear to be reduced.
Study Design, Size, Duration: A prospective multicentre cohort study was conducted between 2020 and 2022 with 60 patients with symptomatic rectal endometriosis.

Optimizing graft preservation is key for ex-situ split grafts in pediatric liver transplantation (PSLT). Hypothermic Oxygenated Perfusion (HOPE) improves ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI) and post-operative outcomes in adult LT. This study compares the use of HOPE in ex-situ partial grafts to static cold storage ex-situ partial grafts (SCS-Split) and to the gold standard living donor liver transplantation (LDLT).
