Background: Simulation-based training has gained distinction in cardiothoracic surgery as robotic-assisted cardiac procedures evolve. Despite the increasing use of wet lab simulators, the effectiveness of these training methods and skill acquisition rates remain poorly understood.

Objectives: This study aimed to compare learning curves and assess the robotic cardiac surgical skill acquisition rate for cardiac and noncardiac surgeons who had no robotic experience in a wet lab simulation setting.

Recent Findings: A systematic search of PubMed and Embase databases (from inception to February 1, 2024) identified nine relevant structural MRI studies. These studies included adult participants diagnosed with acute or persistent PTH in adherence with any edition of the International Classification of Headache Disorders.

We present an image that illustrates long-term visual field progression in patients with X-linked retinitis pigmentosa (XLRP) due to the retinitis pigmentosa GTPase regulator (RPGR) and retinitis pigmentosa 2 protein (RP2) gene variants. Longitudinal data from 84 genetically confirmed XLRP patients were collected from the Danish Retinitis Pigmentosa Registry, spanning the years 1948 to 2014.
