Introduction: Physiotherapists exhibit different degrees of adherence to clinical guidelines for low back pain (LBP). The preferences and expectations of their patients significantly influence physiotherapists' adherence to these guidelines. Therefore, it is crucial to have a comprehensive analysis of the patients' perspectives, which can identify the factors that prevent the implementation of an active approach.

Factors Predicting Nonadherence to Treatment Recommendations for Patients With Chronic Low Back Pain in India: A Cross-Sectional Survey.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine patients' expectations and factors that influence adherence to physiotherapists' treatment recommendations on chronic low back pain (CLBP).

Method: One hundred and forty seven patients with CLBP were included in this study. Predictive indicators including demographic information, views, expectations, and opinions regarding the health status and treatment expectations of patients were derived from questionnaires.

A practical early intervention delays or prevents future complications and prepares the child for functional adult life.

Nurturing Care Interventions for Realizing the Development Potential of Every Child: From Pilot to Scale Up in Maharashtra.

The WHO-UNICEF nurturing care framework (NCF) for early childhood development provides a roadmap for action, focusing on pregnancy and the first three years of life. It emphasizes the need to invest in capacity building and empowerment of service providers, families and communities to create a conducive environment that promotes child development. We describe our experience of implementing nurturing care interventions, beginning with a pilot project in Maharashtra covering a population of 10000 to and scaling it up to a model called Aarambh (the beginning), catering to a population of 1,500,000.

Systematic reviews evaluating the effectiveness of motor control exercises in patients with non-specific low back pain do not consider its principles - A review.

Background: Motor control exercise (MCEs), spinal stabilization or core stability exercises were developed with the aim of restoring the coordination, control, and capacity of the trunk muscles and systematic reviews (SR) evaluating their effectiveness has shown conflicting results. This we hypothesized was due to the non-consideration of principles of neuroplasticity. The objective of this review was to review the operating definitions used in these reviews for these exercises and evaluate if these reviews have considered and satisfied the principles of these exercises in persons with NSLBP, both acute and chronic.

Physical activity and quality of life predictors among university students with polio in India: A cross-sectional study.

Background: Quality of life (QoL) assessments measure the overall well-being of a person. Available data suggest an estimated 10-20 million polio survivors worldwide. Few studies have investigated the physical activity and the QoL of these patients in India.

Physiotherapeutic management of a patient with spinal Schwannoma: A case report.

Introduction: Tumors are generally considered as red flags to manual therapy. The purpose of this report is to describe the clinical course of a patient diagnosed with spinal Schwannoma at L2-L3 level, who was referred to physiotherapy (PT) for the treatment of low back pain radiating to the left lower limb.

Case Description: A 30-year old man previously diagnosed with L2-L3 Schwannoma was referred for physiotherapy for the treatment of radiating pain.
