Safety and effectiveness of interference RNA (RNAi) based therapeutics in cardiac failure: A systematic review.

Background: Heart failure is a major worldwide health concern and leading cause of mortality. RNAi interventions hold promise for patients resistant to conventional drugs due to their off-target effects and lack of specificity.

Objectives: To examine the safety and effectiveness of RNAi therapeutics in treating heart failure.

Disseminated tuberculosis after Polatuzumab-Vedotin based chemoimmunotherapy in a patient with Burkitt's lymphoma.

This report highlights the risk of latent tuberculosis (TB) reactivation after treatment with Polatuzumab Vedotin (PV), Rituximab, and Bendamustine (PBR protocol) despite appropriate chemoprophylaxis. A 48-year-old male with refractory Burkitt's lymphoma (BKL) was treated with PBR protocol. At baseline, the patient had a negative QuantiFERON test result, which turned out to be positive prior to starting PBR.

A Rare Case of COVID-19 Associated With Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia, Thrombocytopenia and Acute Kidney Injury.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) has numerous effects on different systemic organs other than the lungs. In this case report, we look at the presentation of a young female who was diagnosed with autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA), kidney injury and thrombocytopenia during coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection. She recovered well without the need for steroids.

Management of life-threatening acute respiratory syndrome and severe pneumonia secondary to COVID-19 in pregnancy: A case report and literature review.

Evidence-based treatment involving multidisciplinary decision making is warranted to treat COVID-19 in pregnancy. This case presents the management of a critically ill pregnant women infected with SARS-CoV-2.
