Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate the frequency of genitourinary symptoms and their relationships with several factors in a large cohort of postmenopausal women in Turkey.
Methods: We performed a cross-sectional study to review genitourinary complaints among 1,328 postmenopausal women; 1,071 of these women were enrolled in the study. They were questioned about their vaginal and urinary symptoms, and the relationships between these symptoms and their demographic characteristics were evaluated.

Introduction: Sexual difficulties and questions regarding sexual function are frequent in pregnancy, yet they are infrequently discussed in academic communities, medical schools, and residency programs. Embarrassment, lack of experience, inadequate communication skills and insufficient knowledge on how to deal with sexual complaints, and questions in pregnancy are common, especially among young health professionals.
Aim: The aim of this study was to assess and compare the attitude and behavior of Brazilian residents in three different medical programs (obstetrics-gynecology, internal medicine, and psychiatry) toward sexual health issues of pregnant patients.

Although the exact prevalence of haemorrhoids during pregnancy is unknown, the condition is common, and the prevalence of symptomatic haemorrhoids in pregnant women is higher than in non-pregnant women.

Objective: The study was conducted to assess how misbeliefs and fears about intrauterine contraceptive devices (IUDs) can influence the rate of early discontinuation of this method.
Study Design: This is a prospective survey conducted at the Family Planning Clinic at Al-Habibia Maternity Teaching Hospital (Baghdad, Iraq). Two hundred women presenting to the family planning clinic with requests for premature IUD removal were administered a structured questionnaire to ascertain demographic information and reasons for removal request.

Sacral stress fractures are unusual but important causes that should be considered in differential diagnosis. Design: The study was performed with the participation of 510 postmenopausal women who presented to previously defined clinics for reasons other than urogenital complaints. Women completed a questionnaire including questions about their demographic properties and their urogenital symptoms.

Clinical Question: What is the clinical evidence base for McKenzie therapy in management of back pain?
Data Sources: Studies were identified using a computer-based literature search of 7 databases: MEDLINE, EMBASE, DARE, CINAHL, PEDro, the Cochrane Register of Clinical Trials (CENTRAL), and the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews. Search terms included McKenzie therapy, McKenzie treatment, and McKenzie method. Studies published before September 2003 were eligible.
Objective: To describe the prevalence and determinants of dysmenorrhoea, the most common menstrual complaint, in a community in India.
Design: Cross-sectional survey.
Setting: Catchment area of primary health centre in Goa, India.
The survey on emergencies in Obstetrics is addressed here to practitioners and advanced medical students. The specialized gynecologist will, however, find some case reports interspersed illustrating what he/she has already experienced sometimes. The paper should be a refreshment for them.

In this exploratory study, 37 sterilized women applying for sterilization reversal were questioned thoroughly to establish why they had decided to undergo sterilization and why they now wished for it to be reversed. Taking an interactive behavioral model as our starting point, we concentrated on the psychosocial circumstances leading to the definitive decision to be sterilized. A relationship crisis at the time of sterilization was found to be a prognostically unfavorable factor.

Besides the spiroergometric values, circulatory parameters were measured and serum analyses were carried out. The physical efficiency of the subjects was by no means reduced in the stages of pregnancy investigated.
