Full-arch implant therapy with immediate provisionalization is a popular procedure. Conventionally, chairside conversion of a prefabricated prosthesis or an abutment-level impression is usually required. This case report describes a novel approach to picking up a prefabricated full-arch prosthesis utilizing various digital techniques.

Background: Several commercial programs incorporate artificial intelligence in diagnosis, but very few dental professionals have been surveyed regarding its acceptability and usability. Furthermore, few have explored how these advances might be incorporated into routine practice.
Methods: Our team developed and implemented a deep learning (DL) model employing semantic segmentation neural networks and object detection networks to precisely identify alveolar bone crestal levels (ABCLs) and cemento-enamel junctions (CEJs) to measure change in alveolar crestal height (ACH).

Intraosseous lipomas are rare benign tumors of mesenchymal origin, particularly unusual in the maxilla. Spindle cell lipomas, a histological subtype, are even more uncommon, with limited cases reported in the literature. This report documents a rare case of intraosseous spindle cell lipoma in the anterior maxilla of a 66-year-old male and presents a review of 39 gnathic lipoma cases from the literature published between 1976 and 2024.

Background/objective: Although breastfeeding is safe in women with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) who take breastfeeding-compatible medications, rates of breastfeeding are inconsistent, and little is known about the lived experiences surrounding infant feeding among women with SLE. In this qualitative study, we identified factors that influence infant feeding practices of these women.
Methods: Using a phenomenological approach, we conducted and thematically analyzed semi-structured interviews on infant feeding practices with adult women with SLE evaluated at a single tertiary care musculoskeletal center who had given birth within the last 6 years.

Cell homing, a process that leverages the body's natural ability to recruit cells and repair damaged tissues, presents a promising alternative to cell transplantation methods. Central to this approach is the recruitment of endogenous stem/progenitor cells-such as those from the apical papilla, bone marrow, and periapical tissues-facilitated by chemotactic biological cues. Moreover, biomaterial scaffolds embedded with signaling molecules create supportive environments, promoting cell migration, adhesion, and differentiation for the regeneration of the pulp-dentin complex.

Protrusion of the dental implant into the maxillary sinus is known to cause thickening of the sinus mucosa and bacterial sinusitis. However, there are many cases where protruded implants do not cause long-term complications clinically or radiologically. Questions arise as to whether the protruding implant was exposed or covered with sinus mucosa.

It is tempting to ascribe the most outstanding achievements and discoveries in history to inborn talent, exclusive to only a handful of gifted individuals. Nevertheless, such feats are convincingly secondary to the potential for mastery-something we all share. Many studies demonstrate phenomena, such as perceptual learning, that corroborate a human's potential for mastery.

Aim: To assess tissue perfusion changes and wound healing biomarker levels after root coverage procedures with coronally advanced flap in combination with the cross-linked xenogeneic collagen matrix (CCMX), loaded either with a placebo or recombinant human platelet-derived growth factor-BB (rhPDGF).
Methods: This study was designed as a secondary analysis from a previously published clinical trial, and it assessed the tissue perfusion changes over 6 months around multiple gingival recession defects, treated with either with CCMX alone (control) or with CCMX + rhPDGF (test). High frequency Doppler ultrasonography (HFUS) scans were obtained at sites of interest at baseline, 2 weeks, 3 months, and 6 months after surgery.

Introduction: Early childhood caries (ECC), dental cavities in children younger than 6 years, is common, consequential, and inequitably concentrated among socially disadvantaged children. The World Health Organization and authoritative clinical and public health agencies promote 4 chronic disease management (CDM) approaches that are low-cost and can be delivered in home and community sites: pharmacologic, behavioral, monitoring, and minimally invasive dentistry (MID). The extent of adoption of these approaches among US pediatric dentists is unknown.

The dehydrated human amnion-chorion membranes (dHACMs) derived from the human placenta have emerged as a promising biomaterial for dental pulp regeneration owing to their unique biological and structural properties. The purpose of this review is to explore the potentials of dHACMs in dental pulp tissue engineering, focusing on their ability to promote cellular proliferation, differentiation, angiogenesis, and neurogenesis. dHACMs are rich in extracellular matrix proteins and growth factors such as TGF-β1, FGF2, and VEGF.

Objectives: These two clinical case reports show the use of the Triple Layer Graft procedure along with the Decoronation procedure to help restore normal contour and height of tissue The procedure was highly effective at restoring the esthetics that the patients needed on their implants. Short and long term results along with the step by step technique are shown.
Clinical Considerations: Two patients of 33 and 25 years of age both had significant reduction in the height over their implants in the #7 and #10 locations.

Objective: Immediate Tooth Replacement Therapy (ITRT) has become popular due to its ability to reduce treatment time and provide immediate esthetic results. However, long-term challenges, such as mid-facial recession and labial bone resorption, have been reported. Anatomic temporary cylinders (ATC), which allow for efficient fabrication of provisional transitional restorations in the esthetic zone, were designed to mimic the natural emergence profile and guide mucosal tissue healing.

Complications that occur after maxillary sinus floor augmentation (MSA) can be divided into early and late complications. Early complication is a side effect that occurs during the MSA procedure or during the initial healing period. Usually, late complication refers to a side effect that occurs after 3 weeks of MSA.
