Here, we utilised the Body Image in Nature (BINS) dataset-with data collected between 2020 and 2022 -to assess measurement invariance of the SWLS across 65 nations, 40 languages, gender identities, and age groups (N = 56,968). All participants completed the SWLS under largely uniform conditions.

We put forward suggestions, based on scientific knowledge as well as current EUDR research and implementation projects, on how the 12-month phasing-in period could be used wisely to promote sustainability transitions in deforestation-risk value chains.

Efficacy of subcutaneous perispinal infiltration of triamcinolone in patients with symptomatic cervical osteoarthritis.

Objective: To assess the efficacy and safety of subcutaneous perispinal infiltration of low dose of triamcinolone and lidocaine indicated for pain control in patients with cervical osteoarthritis (COA).

Methods: Patients with symptomatic COA resistant to conventional treatment including anti-inflammatory drugs, analgesics, and physical therapy were included. Technetium-99 m pyrophosphate (99mTc-PYP) scintigraphy and computerized tomography (CT) fusion scans images were used for diagnosis of COA and as a guide for level(s) of infiltration(s).

Canadian Men's Intimate Partner Relationship Break-Ups During COVID-19: Implications for Mental Health Promotion.

COVID-19 impacted many men's intimate partner relationships, with distressed and disrupted partnerships consistently featured in commentaries with linkages to mental health challenges. The current study draws from interviews with 23 Canadian-based men, 19-50 years old, who experienced a break-up during COVID-19. Addressing the research question, "What are the connections between masculinities, men's mental health, and intimate partner relationship break-ups during COVID-19?", three thematic findings were derived: (1) Virtually Together and Growing Apart, (2) Mentally Trapped, and Failing Fast and Slow, and (3) Introspections and Moving On.

Immunogenicity of the 9-valent human papillomavirus vaccine: Post hoc analysis from five phase 3 studies.

Post hoc analyses of 9-valent human papillomavirus (9vHPV) vaccine immunogenicity were conducted in five Phase 3 studies that enrolled males. Month 7 antibody geometric mean titers (GMTs) after three 9vHPV vaccine doses were analyzed in 10,024 males/females aged 16-26 years from studies 001 (NCT00543543), 002 (NCT00943722), 003 (NCT01651949), and 020 (NCT02114385). Covariates considered were age, gender, sexual orientation, region of residence, and race.

Methods: This retrospective study included 41 patients (32 cancer and 9 trauma; 36 primary and 5 secondary) who underwent lacrimal sac to conjunctiva reconstructive ostomy. The technique involves creating a direct connection between a surgical opening in the lacrimal sac, which maintains its bony attachments to prevent ostomy occlusion, and the medial conjunctiva (medial fornix, bulbar, and palpebral).

From surface to caves: new species of Brandt, 1833 (Oniscidea, Armadillidae) from Colombia, with the description of the first troglobitic species.

Two new species of are described, from Cerro Bañaderos in Hatonuevo, La Guajira, and from Roca Madre Cave, Toluviejo, Sucre, both from the Tropical Dry Forest (TDF) areas of the Colombian Caribbean. The latter represent the first troglobitic species of the genus. Moreover, based on specimens from Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Magdalena (type locality), is placed into and an identification key for all species of the genus is given.

Facing migration under adverse conditions: challenges and resilience in the Colombo-Venezuelan border area.

Background: Internal displacement and cross-country migration are an increasing global phenomenon drawing the attention of politicians and the public. Causes and effects on the migrants and receptor populations are varied and often shaped by immigration laws and how migrants and refugees are being dealt with by local conditions, policy frameworks and by the host population (receptors). Pembrolizumab and chemotherapy in high-risk, early-stage, ER/HER2 breast cancer: a randomized phase 3 trial.

Addition of pembrolizumab to neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by adjuvant pembrolizumab improved outcomes in patients with high-risk, early-stage, triple-negative breast cancer. Intra-mesenteric steroids for steroid-refractory graft-versus-host disease in pediatric patients: A safe option.

Introduction: Graft-versus-host disease is a serious complication after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and is a major cause of death post-transplantation. Approximately 50% of acute graft-versus-host disease patients do not respond to systemic steroids and their prognosis is poor regardless of the treatment. This study describes our experience with pediatric patients diagnosed with steroid-refractory graft-versus-host disease who received intra-mesenteric steroid treatment.

Severe immunodeficiency spectrum associated with NHEJ1 gene mutation: Cernunnos/XLF deficiency.

Cernunnos/XLF deficiency is a rare, severe combined immunodeficiency, inherited in an autosomal recessive pattern (OMIM number: 611290), related to the NHEJ1 gene. This gene participates in the DNA non-homologous end-joining pathway, repairing double-strand breaks in the DNA of mammalian cells. The clinical features include growth retardation, microcephaly, triangle-shaped face, recurrent infections, fibroblast's excessive sensitivity to gamma-ionizing radiation, and hypogammaglobulinemia; also, low counts of subpopulations of B and T lymphocytes, with normal values of natural-killer cells.
