Appropriate photoprotection plays a key role in the safety of using medicinal preparations whose active substances may induce photosensitivity reactions. This aspect applies not only to drugs applied topically to the skin, but also systemically. Drug-induced photosensitivity reactions to light depend on the active substance contained in the medicinal product and its dose, which translates into the concentration in the skin, the type of ultraviolet radiation, its intensity and exposure time.

The most important challenges in acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) is preventing early death and reducing long-term events, such as second neoplasms (s-NPLs). We performed a retrospective analysis of 2670 unselected APL patients, treated with PETHEMA "chemotherapy based" and "chemotherapy free" protocols. Neuropathological central nervous system (CNS) post-mortem examination is a highly specialistic element of the autopsy procedure with methodological specificity. Herein we propose updated recommendations for CNS autopsy for pathologists and neuropathologists. A scientific research has demonstrated that emergency call operators face unique risks to job stress and burnout.
