Dairy production is practiced almost all over Ethiopia. This study aimed to identify the botanical origins of honey through pollen analysis across agro-ecologies of Kelala district, South Wollo, Ethiopia. Fifteen honey samples were collected from traditional beehives, with 5 samples from each of the highland, midland, and lowland agro-ecologies. Qualitative and quantitative pollen analyses revealed that 22 honeybee plants belonging to 8 families, with no families of poisonous origin, and 3 growth forms were identified.
