Background: The Imaging Dementia-Evidence for Amyloid Scanning (IDEAS) study demonstrated that amyloid PET changes patient management in >60% of Medicare beneficiaries with MCI/atypical dementia. IDEAS had limited racial/ethnic diversity and excluded patients with "typical" amnestic clinical presentations. Here we present preliminary results from the New IDEAS study, which evaluates the clinical impact of amyloid PET in a more racially, ethnically and clinically diverse cohort.

Real-World data platforms for Alzheimer's Disease (AD) offer a unique opportunity to improve health equity through better understanding of health disparities and inclusivity in research, which is critical to translatability of research findings. AD research in the US and globally remains largely inaccessible to many individuals due to individual-level, study-level, investigator-level and larger systemic barriers. ALZ-NET, a US-based registry to evaluate longitudinal outcomes of patients being evaluated for or treated with novel FDA-approved AD therapy, and New IDEAS, an observational US-based longitudinal study of amyloid PET clinical utility, both offer opportunities for examining care, inclusivity, and disparities.

Chronic diffuse liver disease continues to increase in prevalence and represents a global health concern. Noninvasive detection and quantification of hepatic steatosis, iron overload, and fibrosis are critical, especially given the many relative disadvantages and potential risks of invasive liver biopsy. Although MRI techniques have emerged as the preferred reference standard for quantification of liver fat, iron, and fibrosis, CT can play an important role in opportunistic detection of unsuspected disease and is performed at much higher volumes.

Importance: Most patients with locally advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) recur within the liver following systemic therapy.

Objective: To determine whether stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) improves outcomes in patients with locally advanced HCC compared with sorafenib alone.

The dynamic susceptibility contrast (DSC) MRI measures of relative cerebral blood volume (rCBV) play a central role in monitoring therapeutic response and disease progression in patients with gliomas. Previous investigations have demonstrated promise of using rCBV in classifying tumor grade, elucidating tumor viability after therapy, and differentiating pseudoprogression and pseudoresponse. However, the quantification and reproducibility of rCBV measurements across patients, devices, and software remain a critical barrier to routine or clinical trial use of longitudinal DSC MRI in patients with gliomas.
