Postpartum depression: The prevalence and associated factors among women attending postnatal clinics in the Bawku municipality, Upper East Region of Ghana.

Introduction: This study examined postpartum depression (PPD) among mothers in the Bawku municipality of Ghana, aiming to assess its prevalence and associated risk factors.

Methods: A total of 242 women, 2-12 weeks postpartum, were randomly recruited for this cross-sectional analytical study. The Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale was used for depression screening, and multivariate logistic regression analysis was employed to assess the factors associated with PPD.

[Effects of SP-6 acupressure on dysmenorrhea, cortisol, epinephrine and norepinephrine in the college students].

Method: Data were collected from May 1 to August 31, 2002. A total of 58 students from two universities participated in the study.

This study examined the appropriateness of OMAHA Classification System in identifying health service needs and relevant strategies for intervention by public health nurses working in community health centers in Seoul. The face-to-face interview using a questionnaire was used to assess individual and family health needs in the targeted district. Respondents were 4024 persons from 1449 households in one municipal district in Seoul, Korea.
