Bridging Gaps: Creating a Digital Toolkit to Support Pregnant and Parenting Youth.

Despite declines in teen pregnancy, pregnant teens remain at risk for poor health and educational outcomes due to a lack of care coordination and access to resources. The purpose of this project was to develop and launch a care coordination toolkit to provide resources to pregnant and parenting youth (PPY) at a large urban school district. School personnel were trained on the use of the toolkit and completed pre- and posttraining surveys to evaluate changes in knowledge and confidence.

Purpose: To describe physical activity (PA) trajectories across 10 years post-breast cancer diagnosis and examine their association with quality of life (QoL).

Methods: Participants from the longitudinal Study of Women's Health Across the Nation who developed incident breast cancer completed the Quality of Life in Adult Cancer Survivors scale (QLACS) which has 12 domains. Breast cancer survivors (BCS) with at least one post-diagnosis measure of the Kaiser Physical Activity Survey (PA) were included (n = 96).

There is a pressing need for accessible biomarkers with high diagnostic accuracy for Alzheimer's disease (AD) diagnosis to facilitate widespread screening, particularly in underserved groups. Saliva is an emerging specimen for measuring AD biomarkers, with distinct contexts of use that could complement blood and cerebrospinal fluid and detect various analytes. An interdisciplinary, international group of AD and related dementias (ADRD) researchers convened and performed a narrative review of published studies on salivary AD biomarkers.

Despite the prevalence and harmful consequences of interpersonal violence and the growth in intervention research, applying research evidence and strategies into practice remains limited. This systematic review addresses this gap by using the Consolidated Framework of Implementation Research (CFIR) to characterize barriers and facilitators in efforts to prevent and address interpersonal violence. Black Americans are disproportionately affected by COVID-19 related disease and mortality due to longstanding social, political, economic, and environmental injustices. Although structural determinants of health have clear links to both COVID-19 disease and vaccine uptake, many public health researchers focus on the contribution of individual level trust in vaccine uptake, obscuring how distrust develops and is reinforced through continued systemic injustice. While much is known about relationship between individual trust and receipt of the COVID-19 vaccine, less is known about how structural racism and exposure to discrimination influence that association.

Homeless-experienced adults have higher liver-related mortality than the general population. The objective of our study was to examine temporal liver-related mortality trends and assess cause-specific liver-related mortality disparities in a large cohort of homeless-experienced adults. We linked a cohort of 60,092 adults who received care at Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program (BHCHP) from 2003-2017 to Massachusetts death occurrence files spanning 2003-2018.
