Background: Healthcare workers are at the frontline of the fight against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The World Health Organization prioritized healthcare workers to receive COVID-19 vaccination immediately upon availability. This study aims to not only investigate the opinions and willingness of healthcare workers at a tertiary hospital to receive the COVID-19 vaccine but also assess the impact of vaccination on their work-related stress levels, before and after COVID-19 vaccination.

Effects of happy sensation training group on the symptom of anxiety, depression and sleep structure: a randomized controlled trial.

Background: Non-drug therapy is a common clinical treatment for chronic insomnia, and the effect of happiness perception training group based on five senses therapy on chronic insomnia has not been evaluated.

Objective: This study investigated the effects of happy sensation training group on anxiety, depression and insomnia symptoms in patients with chronic insomnia disorder.

Childbirth preparedness is related to maternal health outcomes, especially those occurring in the early postpartum period. Women birthing in Ohio were recruited for a longitudinal cohort study to identify predictors of childbirth preparedness, examine associations between childbirth preparedness and experiences of discrimination, and determine effects of preparedness on satisfaction with birth. Childbirth preparedness, especially related to the patient-provider relationship, was associated with maternal race, insurance type, and experiences of discrimination.

Users' safety perceptions from crime in relation to park type and user gender in Mexico.

While parks hold potential as inclusive spaces for promoting physical activity, perceptions of safety from crime may affect their use, especially in low-to middle-income countries. Safety perceptions may be shaped by gender and park type; however, these relationships have not been explored in Mexico. The aim of this study was to explore associations between safety perceptions and park type by gender.

Patients And Methods: A descriptive, cross-sectional, correlational design was used. A total of 99 pediatric nurses from two governmental hospitals in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia completed an online survey which included two standardized measures: The Brief Resilience Scale (BRS) and the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSE).

Liver fibrosis (LF) is an important process in the progression of chronic liver disease to cirrhosis. We have previously demonstrated that a regenerated silk fibroin scaffold loaded with adipose-derived stem cells (RSF + ADSCs) can repair acute liver injury. In this study, we established a chronic LF animal model using carbon tetrachloride (CCl) and a high-fat diet.

Background: The rising prevalence of multi-morbidity increases treatment complexity and caregiving demands, often necessitating involvement of family members as informal caregivers. While essential, this involvement can be burdensome, causing distress for family members. Mpox, previously known as monkeypox, is a viral disease that has become a significant global health concern following outbreaks beyond its endemic regions in central and west Africa. In 2022, the World Health Organization declared a 'public health emergency of international concern' (PHEIC) due to a rise in mpox cases, predominantly affecting gay and bisexual men. Although the initial surge of cases had diminished by early 2023, a new PHEIC was declared in 2024 due to a more severe strain of the virus circulating in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
