Introduction: Due to activity limitations and physical environmental barriers, low remunerative employment is a challenging issue for people with spinal cord injury (SCI) and relevant rehabilitation personnel. Since work opportunities in digital fields have continued to emerge, this study aims to report and discuss the possibility of using digital working as a strategy for increasing remunerative employment in people with SCI.
Case Presentation: We report live experiences of four people with SCI in Thailand who have digital works with different types of jobs (image segmentation and identification for artificial intelligence development, online merchant, online streamer, cryptocurrency investor), different required digital skills (basic or intermediate digital skills), different employment statuses (employee or owner), and different incomes (from 50 to 200 USD/month).

There has been significant progress in the field of three-dimensional (3D) bioprinting technology, leading to active research on creating bioinks capable of producing structurally and functionally tissue-mimetic constructs. TiCT MXene nanoparticles (NPs), promising two-dimensional nanomaterials, are being investigated for their potential in muscle regeneration due to their unique physicochemical properties. In this study, we integrated MXene NPs into composite hydrogels made of gelatin methacryloyl (GelMA) and hyaluronic acid methacryloyl (HAMA) to develop bioinks (namely, GHM bioink) that promote myogenesis.

Purpose: Major depressive disorder (MDD) is associated with worse cognitive functioning. We aim to examine the association between baseline cognitive functioning and the reduction rate in HDRS-17 total scores and to highlight the predictors of the reduction rate in HDRS-17 total scores in MDD with first-episode, drug-naïve (FED) patients.
Patients And Methods: Ninety FED patients were recruited consecutively and evaluated using the 17-item Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HDRS-17), the 14-item Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA-14), the Functioning Assessment Short Test (FAST) and the MATRICS Consensus Cognitive Battery (MCCB) at baseline and again at week 8.

Background: Patients with idiopathic interstitial pneumonia (IIP) have a favourable prognosis when they have interstitial pneumonia with autoimmune features (IPAF). However, precise IPAF-related findings from high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) and lung histopathological specimens and the treatment response have not been fully determined. Therefore, this study was conducted to evaluate the relationship between findings on HRCT or lung histopathological specimens and the progression of interstitial pneumonia in patients with IPAF.

Abnormal silencing of fibroblast growth factor (FGF) signaling significantly contributes to joint dysplasia and osteoarthritis (OA); However, the clinical translation of FGF18-based protein drugs is hindered by their short half-life, low delivery efficiency and the need for repeated articular injections. This study proposes a CRISPR/Cas9-based approach to effectively activate the FGF18 gene of OA chondrocytes at the genome level in vivo, using chondrocyte-affinity peptide (CAP) incorporated hybrid exosomes (CAP/FGF18-hyEXO) loaded with an FGF18-targeted gene-editing tool. Furthermore, CAP/FGF18-hyEXO are encapsulated in methacrylic anhydride-modified hyaluronic (HAMA) hydrogel microspheres via microfluidics and photopolymerization to create an injectable microgel system (CAP/FGF18-hyEXO@HMs) with self-renewable hydration layers to provide persistent lubrication in response to frictional wear.
