Introduction: The present study examined the moderating effects of undergraduate collectivism in the relations between parents' acceptance/rejection and undergraduate adjustment to college in Chinese societies.
Methods: A survey was conducted covering 5,444 Chinese undergraduates and involved the use of the Parental Acceptance and Rejection Questionnaires (PARQ-short form), the College Student Adaptability Inventory (CSAI), and the Individualism-Collectivism Scale (ICS).
Results: Findings revealed that undergraduate's collectivism moderated the relations between acceptance/rejection and undergraduate adjustment to college for fathers, but not for mothers.

Introduction: Forestry modernization (FM) and High quality economic development (HED) are two major goals that must be achieved in the process of economic development from low to high, and they are closely related to each other in their respective internal development mechanisms.
Methods: Based on the analysis of the coupling coordination mechanism between FM and HED, this paper empirically studies the coupling coordination degree and influencing factors of "forestry modernization and high quality economic development" ("FM-HED") using panel data from 30 provinces and cities in China (except Xizang, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) from 2012 to 2020. First, the entropy method and the coupling coordination degree model were used to analyze the temporal changes and spatial differentiation of the coupling coordination between FM and HED.

The objective of this study was to examine the influence of household socio-economic factors on maternal mortality and under-five survival in Nigeria. Consequently, data from 2005 to 2021 were collected from the World Development Indicators, and fully modified least squares and canonical cointegrating regression were utilised to implement the study. The results showed that for every 100,000 live births, at least 1097 mothers die in Nigeria.
