The abnormal expression of microRNAs (miRNAs) is associated with cancer initiation and progression. miRNAs functioning as oncogenes or tumor suppressors represent novel biomarkers for cancer diagnosis, prognosis, and serve as therapeutic tools. MiR‑3666 has been reported as a tumor suppressor in various types of cancer; however, its role in breast cancer remains unknown.

In this study, an unusual case of intracranial hemorrhage is presented. It is spontaneous epidural hemorrhage, the complication of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. In this case, a 29-year-old female presented with vomiting and continuous headache and computed tomography revealed the right frontal parietal and temporal epidural hematoma.

Objective: To investigate the mutation in transcription factor paired box gene PAX9 in a mongolian family with non-syndromic oligodontia.

Methods: Peripheral blood was collected from 17 core family members (9 unaffected, 8 affected) in this Mongolian family with non-syndromic oligodontia. Mutation in exons of PAX9 gene was identified by PCR amplification and DNA sequencing.
