This study proposes Grasshopper Optimization Algorithm (GOA) based type 1 diabetes mellitus system utilizing the nonlinear Bergman minimal model with proportional integral derivative (PID) controller. GOA is the optimization algorithm, which is utilized for selecting the optimized tuning parameters of the PID controller also solves the nonlinear system parameter identification problem. The novelty of the proposed study is to stabilize the glucose level in blood for type 1 diabetic patients by infusion of insulin in reduced time with optimal quantity.

The foremost intention of this work is to test the suitability of the Ficus religiosa Root Fiber (FRRF) as the better reinforcement for the natural fiber-reinforced composite structures. In the current work, the attempts have been made with the view of improving the physical, thermal, chemical, surface, and crystalline properties of FRRF employing 5 wt% of NaOH solution. Five samples of FRRF have been prepared by soaking the raw fiber in the alkali solution under different soaking times.

In this study, thin films of polymer poly(methyl methacrylate) were prepared using a drop casting method. A simple two-step approach has been employed to synthesize a cobalt-nickel-copper ternary metal oxide, involving electrochemical precipitation/deposition followed by calcination. The ternary metal hydroxide gets precipitated/deposited from a nitrate bath at the cathode in the catholyte chamber of a two-compartment diaphragm cell at room temperature having a pH ≈ 3. The microstructure of the ternary hydroxides was modified in situ by two different surfactants such as cetyltrimethylammonium bromide and dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide in the bath aiming for enhanced storage performance in the electrochemical devices.

A cerium-based metal-organic framework, namely MOF-589, was synthesized using benzoimidephenanthroline tetracarboxylic acid (H BIPA-TC) as an organic linker. Full characterization including single-crystal and powder X-ray diffraction analysis, thermogravimetrical analysis, scanning electron microscopy, and N adsorption measurements at low pressure and 77 K were carried out. The material was employed as an efficient heterogeneous catalyst for decomposition of methylene blue (MB) dye (40 ppm) in the presence of H O in 15 minutes.

Phenolic acids of oak gall were extracted using ultrasonic-probe assisted extraction (UPAE) method in the presence of ionic liquid. It was compared with classical ultrasonic-bath assisted extraction (CUBAE) and conventional aqueous extraction (CAE) method, with and without the presence of ionic liquid.
