Objective: To investigate and compare the influence of social and cultural factors as access barriers to oral health care amongst people from various social classes.
Basic Research Design And Participants: A cross sectional survey in Pimpri, was conducted using a pilot tested 15 item-structured, close-ended and self-administered questionnaire. Two hundred and fifty people aged 35-45 years (50 participants each in five social classes as per British Registrar's General classification of occupation) were selected.

Resolution of inflammation and the return of tissues to homeostasis protect us against excessive tissue injury and promote the restoration of function and structure. Resolution of inflammation, which was considered a passive event, is actually an active process where new families of endogenous lipid mediators from omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids play an important role in removing proinflammatory mediators generated from arachidonic acid.

Background And Objective: The objectives of this in vitro study, is to evaluate the influence of various dentin treatment procedures prior to bleaching namely, demineralization and demineralization in conjunction with deproteinization on the dentin permeability and bleaching efficacy.
Method: The study used a total of 40 sound premolars, which were sectioned longitudinally, and their color coefficients and absorption spectrum was recorded and used as control values for the later study. These dentin samples were then discolored by blood and their color coefficients and absorption spectrum were calibrated.

Background: Anemia of chronic disease is defined as anemia occurring in chronic infections and inflammatory conditions that is not caused by marrow deficiencies or other diseases and in the presence of adequate iron stores and vitamins. Periodontitis is a chronic infectious condition of the supporting tissues of the teeth caused by subgingival microbial colonization in susceptible hosts. This study determines the correlation between signs of anemia and chronic periodontitis.

While magnification systems are widely used in endodontics, their application in periodontics is still in its nascent phase.
