Traditional multimodal contrastive learning brings text and its corresponding image closer together as a positive pair, where the text typically consists of fixed sentence structures or specific descriptive statements, and the image features are generally global features (with some fine-grained work using local features). Similar to unimodal self-supervised contrastive learning, this approach can be seen as enforcing a strict identity constraint in a multimodal context. However, due to the inherent complexity of remote sensing images, which cannot be easily described in a single sentence, and the fact that remote sensing images contain rich ancillary information beyond just object features, this strict identity constraint may be insufficient.

A simple two step synthetic method for di-doped crystalline mesoporous tin dioxide powder containing antimony and fluoride at ambient pressure and temperature has been developed. This approach produced materials with high surface areas and improved electrical and optoelectrical conductance. The two dopant elements; antimony and fluoride were introduced to tin dioxide by two approaches.

Objective: The objective of this study is to analyze oxidative stress markers Total Oxidant Status (TOS) and total Antioxidant Status (TAS), assess antioxidant levels (vitamin C, E), and evaluate co-factor element profiles zinc (Zn), copper (Cu), iron (Fe) in the serum of Iraqi gastric cancer patients. By elucidating these relationships, the research aims to enhance knowledge on oxidative stress, dietary factors, and potential therapeutic approaches for managing nutritional imbalances in this cohort.
Methods: The study included 60 gastric cancer patients and 60 matched controls.

Soil and wastewater samples contaminated by petroleum-related industries were collected from various locations in Saudi Arabia, a country known for its vast oil reserves. The samples were analyzed for their physicochemical properties, including the presence of metals, petroleum hydrocarbons, and aromatic compounds. A total of 264 fungal isolates were analyzed and categorized into eight groups of Aspergillus (194 isolates) and four groups of Penicillium (70 isolates).

The exponential rise in pesticide resistance to conventional chemical pesticides is another major factor driving the development of novel insecticidal active agents. One approach to solving this problem is to investigate novel classes and environmentally safe insecticidal chemicals with a variety of modes of action. Among these techniques is the creation of novel tebufenozide derivatives.

This paper presents a composed lithium phosphate (LiPON) solid electrolyte interface (SEI) film which was coated on a lithium electrode via an electrodeposit method in a lithium-sulfur battery, and the structure of the product was characterized through infrared spectrum (IR) analysis, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), environment scanning electron microscope (ESEM), etc. Meanwhile, the electrochemical impedance spectrum and the interface stability of the lithium electrode with the LiPON film was analyzed, while the coulomb efficiency and the cycle life of the lithium electrode with the LiPON film in the lithium-sulfur battery were also studied. It was found that this kind of film can effectively inhibit the charge from transferring at the interface between the electrode and the solution, which can produce a more stable interface impedance on the electrode, thereby improving the interface contact with the electrolyte, and effectively improve the discharge performance, cycle life, and the coulomb efficiency of the lithium-sulfur battery.

Objectives: Mental chronometry is the scientific study of cognitive processing speed measured by reaction time (RT), which is the elapsed time between the onset of a stimulus and an individual's response. This study aims at measuring the RT among young children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and comparing it with normal (typically developing) children.
Methods: 60 ASD children were selected from different ASD centers, and 60 normal children were selected from different kindergartens for participation in this study.

In this groundbreaking study, artificial neural networks (ANNs) are employed to predict the production cross-sections of crucial radioisotopes, namely O, Bi, Th, and Zn, via the (p,n) reaction. We employed a comparative approach to validate the ANN model's predictions by comparing them to outputs generated by established nuclear reaction codes (TALYS 1.9, EMPIRE-3.

This study explores the narrative skills of deaf and hearing children within the context of Arabic diglossia, a linguistic environment characterised by significant differences between spoken dialects and formal written language. Using Stein and Glenn's (1979) and Bruner's (1991) frameworks, the research analyses the narrative constructions of 13 hearing and 13 deaf children in Kuwait. The findings reveal that hearing children, benefiting from consistent exposure to spoken and formal Arabic, produced more coherent and detailed narratives compared to deaf children.

Context: In this work, we explore the potential of 2D materials, particularly graphene and its derivatives, for eco-friendly electricity generation and air pollution reduction. Leveraging the significant surface area of graphene nanomaterials, the susceptibility of these graphene-based nanostructures to hazardous substances and their applicability in clean solar cell (SSC) devices were systematically investigated using density functional theory (DFT), as implemented within Gaussian 5.0 code.

Numerous recently introduced chaotic systems exhibit straightforward algebraic representations. In this study, we explore the potential for identifying a global analytic first integral in a generalized 3-dimensional chaotic system (2). Our work involves detailing the model of a new 3-D chaotic system characterized by three Lyapunov exponents-positive, zero, and negative.

Twenty-three records are considered misidentifications and therefore omitted from the checklist. Where possible, the misidentified records are attributed to other species based on their distribution and morphology; as a result of this, three species are recorded in Iraq for the first time: Dictis striatipes L.

Although human monkeypox infections had not been recorded in the Kurdistan region of Iraq as of August 2023, the rapid growth of cases worldwide and the detection of monkeypox in neighboring Middle Eastern nations call for careful planning and timely response measures. Educating and empowering frontline healthcare workers (HCWs) so that they can act to curb the spread of monkeypox infections are core elements of primary prevention and protecting public health. Therefore, this study aimed to assess HCWs' knowledge and attitudes about monkeypox and their willingness to vaccinate against monkeypox.

This study investigates the impact of gamma radiation on the electrical properties of InAs/InGaAs quantum dot-based laser structures grown on both GaAs (Sample A) and Si (Sample B) substrates using molecular beam epitaxy. The research explores the electrical characteristics of the lasers before and after being exposed to gamma radiation employing current-voltage (-), capacitance-voltage (-), deep level transient spectroscopy (DLTS) and Laplace DLTS techniques. The results show that the electrical properties of the lasers change due to gamma radiation exposure, and the extent of the change depends on the substrate used for growth.
