Introduction: The recent outbreaks of Hepatitis A in Kerala are suggestive of decrease in endemicity as most adults were not exposed during the childhood. In allopathic system of medicine, there is no established treatment for Hepatitis A and hence most people tend to rely on the alternate systems of medicine. The study was aimed at identifying the burden of Hepatitis A in the locality and to uncover the degree of dependence of the people on traditional systems of medicine.

Use of Amnion Transfer in Resistant Nonhealing Venous Leg Ulcers.

In the treatment of venous leg ulcers, after adopting many treatment modalities, at times we are still left with a local indolent problem, "the resistant nonhealing venous ulcer." With repeated surgical procedures failing to obtain a healed ulcer, constant pain, persistent discharging wound, infections, etc., many a patient turn hostile.

Introduction: Rhinoscleroma and Rosai-Dorfman disease have been reported to coexist in the same patient at different sites. Rosai-Dorfman disease may have an aetiological relationship with rhinoscleroma, although this has not yet been proved.

Case Report: A case of a 42-year-old woman with recurrent nasal masses is presented, with histopathological proof of both conditions coexisting in the same nasal lesion.
