Objective: The primary objective of this investigation is to systematically scrutinize extant surgical studies delineating Four-Level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (4L ACDF), with a specific emphasis on elucidating reported surgical indications, clinical and radiological outcomes, fusion rates, lordosis correction, and the spectrum of complication rates.
Methods: The literature review was conducted in adherence to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines, employing the MEDLINE (PubMed), Embase, and Scopus databases. This analysis encompasses studies implementing the 4L ACDF procedure, with detailed extraction of pertinent data pertaining to surgical methodologies, types of employed interbody cages, clinical and radiological endpoints, rates of fusion, and the incidence of complications.

Background: The lumbar spinal canal consists of 5 interconnected lumbar vertebrae through which the final part of the spinal cord passes and the lumbar and sacral spinal nerves that form the cauda equina. The lumbar canal stenosis can directly affect neurological symptoms and pain in the lumbar region and lower extremities. Due to the frequency of such symptoms, lumbar stenosis has been the subject of research around the world.

Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a diverse disease with various clinical, pathological and molecular features that affect tumor biological behavior, treatment response and prognosis.
Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the correlation between metabolic 18F-FDG PET/CT parameters (SUVmax, MTV and TLG) and CEA in recurrent and metastatic CRC and to evaluate prognostic value of metabolic 18F-FDG PET/CT parameters in recurrent and metastatic CRC.
Methods: A descriptive study of 100 patients with previously detected and surgically treated CRC referred to PET/CT with a suspicion of recurrent or metastatic CRC.

Occupational exposure in Bosnia and Herzegovina is regulated by the national regulation on radiation protection for occupational and public exposure. All radiation workers are required to be monitored using whole body passive thermoluminescent dosemeters and, in case of non-uniform external exposures, by dosemeters that would indicate dose to the most affected body parts. Exposed workers are almost exclusively employed in the medical field, and some of them work in nuclear medicine departments where they handle unsealed radioactive sources.

Background: MRI techniques of the lumbar spine have not provided data on the effect of gravity on the spine and on the relationship of anatomic structures during its action. Because conventional MRI examinations of the spine are usually performed in the supine position these are often exacerbated by standing upright and are not evident in the supine position the loading conditions differ from those known to cause symptoms in patients with lumbar instability. Axial loading imaging may improve diagnostics in the clinical management of LBP and lead to appropriate treatment decisions.

Background: The use of resolution recovery (RR) in bone and myocardial perfusion imaging is becoming increasingly popular in nuclear medicine departments. RR produces reconstructed images that show improved spatial resolution and signal-to-noise ratio compared with conventional single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) images.
Objective: To evaluate the impact of the ordered subset expectation maximization (OSEM) RR modality on preserving noise, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) for short SPECT acquisition.

Introduction: People living with HIV (PLWH) are at higher risk of poorer COVID-19 outcomes. Vaccination is a safe and effective method of prevention against many infectious diseases, including COVID-19. Here we investigate the strategies for national COVID-19 vaccination programmes across central and eastern Europe and the inclusion of PLWH in vaccination programmes.

For the past 80 years, the effect of the Mediterranean diet on overall health has been a constant topic of interest among medical and scientific researchers. Parallel with the persistent global rise of cases of type 2 diabetes, many studies conducted in the past 20 years have shown the benefits of the Mediterranean lifestyle for people with, or at risk of developing, type 2 diabetes mellitus. However, despite the large body of evidence, concerns exist amongst scientists regarding the reliability of the data related to this topic.

Although family should be the basis for the development and formation of a child's personality, violence is mostly done in the family, and remains undiscovered for a long time. The real number of abused children is much more than that displayed in the registered cases. The secrecy of the problem is an important feature of this phenomenon.

This paper presents the study that would allow a revision of the currently valid diagnostic reference level in intraoral dental X-ray radiography in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The study was conducted for six procedures that are used to capture incisor, premolar and molar teeth, of both maxilla and mandible, in adults. Measurements were performed on 41 intraoral X-ray devices, 20 of which were systems with digital image receptor and 21 film-based X-ray systems.

Case Report: An 18-year old female patient presented to our Neurosurgical Out-patients' Clinic with symptoms atypical for multiple sclerosis, unremarkable neurological deficit, one tumefactive lesion on MRI, followed by relapse and another two lesions within a period of six months. We decided to perform biopsy of the tumefactive lesion with compressive effect.

Introduction: Recent research reported that prolonged use of AET is associated with changes in bone metabolism, with consequent reduction in bone mineral density (BMD) and increased risk of fractures.
Objectives: Therefore, the aim of our study was to investigate the effects of carbamazepine on serum levels of 25 -hydroxyvitamin D and on biomarker of bone formation and resorption (serum levels of osteocalcin).
Material And Methods: We measured serum levels of 25-OHD and osteocalcin (OCLN) in normal controls (n=30) and in epilepsy patients taking carbamazepine (CBZ) (n=50) in monotherapy for a period of at least twelve months.
