Objective: The aim of our study was to determine the etiological factors, treatment and outcome of patients with non-variceal bleeding from upper gastrointestinal tract.
Materials And Methods: This study enrolled 200 patients admitted to Sarajevo University Clinical Center with signs and symptoms of upper gastrointestinal bleeding, from January 2019 to July 2020. All patients had undergone gastroscopy, confirming the cause of gastrointestinal bleeding.

Objectives: The aim of this prospective study was to correlate the Doppler ultrasonography of the uterine arteries with the Kurjak Antenatal Neurodevelopmental Test (KANET), to investigate the effect of uterine artery flow assessed by the Doppler on fetal behavior.
Methods: A population of 80 pregnant women in the second trimester of pregnancy was included for uterine artery Doppler (UAD) assessment. The investigation group consisted of 40 women with abnormal UAD, while the control group consisted of 40 women with normal UAD.
Introduction: Upper gastrointestinal bleeding can be a life-threatening condition and requires careful evaluation from the very first episode in order to reduce the risk of rebleeding, hemorrhagic shock and death. The outcome of a patient with upper gastrointestinal bleeding depends on resuscitation measures taken during admission to the hospital and an adequate assessment of the patient's risk level.
Aim: The aim of the study is to compare Glasgow Blatchford score and Rockall score and to identify the most accurate score used in predicting unfavorable outcomes and the need for intervention.

Patients And Methods: The study involved 140 patients, 34 with DM type 1 and 106 with DM type2. In relation to the type of glaucoma to the patients are divided into two groups: Primary and Secondary glaucoma.

Aim: To analyze the clinical signs of multiple sclerosis (MS) and show that optic neuritis is one of the first event, which indicates the development of disease.
Patients And Methods: The study involved 89 cases in which it confirmed MS at the time of the March 2009-2011. Since ophthalmological parameters were analyzed visual acuity (VA), visual field (VF), and retinal nerve fibre layer (RNFL) thickness of peripapillary rim by optic coherent tomography (OCT).

The aim of the paper is to investigate significance of the endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) in diagnostic and staging of gastric lymphoma. Retrospective clinical study was conducted at the Clinic for Hematology and Clinic for Gastroenterology of the University Clinical Center of Sarajevo in the period of years 2002 to 2009. Patients (N = 40) with diagnosis of gastric lymphoma confirmed by pathohistological diagnosis were included in the study.

In short, "minimally invasive" is a code phrase for life saving procedures which in same time disrupt our quality of life the least. Its goals include reducing incision size, decreasing surgical trauma and pain, and improving cosmesits, patient satisfaction, and recovery times.

Paper goal is to determine complications after urgent surgical treatment of patient with penile fractures, by using circumferential-degloving technique (degloving penile skin to root of penis). In period between 1998-2006 year, 23 patients have been treated as urgent cases with clinically proven penis fracture, age between 18 and 35. Patients were treated in 3 medical centers in Bosnia and Herzegovina(Sarajevo, Tuzla and Zenica).
