Objective: College Students' sleep quality and daytime dysfunction have become worse since the COVID-19 outbreak, the purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between sleep quality and daytime dysfunction among college students during the COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease 2019) period.

Methods: This research adopts the form of cluster random sampling of online questionnaires. From April 5 to 16 in 2022, questionnaires are distributed to college students in various universities in Fujian Province, China and the general information questionnaire and PSQI scale are used for investigation.

Introduction: It is unclear whether admission-blood-glucose-to-albumin ratio (AAR) predicts adverse clinical outcomes in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) who are treated with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Here, we performed a observational study to explore the predictive value of AAR on clinical outcomes.

Methods: Patients diagnosed with STEMI who underwent PCI between January 2010 and February 2020 were enrolled in the study.

Background And Objective: Bone tumor is a kind of harmful orthopedic disease, there are benign and malignant points. Aiming at the problem that the accuracy of the existing machine learning algorithm for bone tumor image segmentation is not high, a bone tumor image segmentation algorithm based on improved full convolutional neural network which consists fully convolutional neural network (FCNN-4s) and conditional random field (CRF).

Methodology: The improved fully convolutional neural network (FCNN-4s) was used to perform coarse segmentation on preprocessed images.

Background: α-fetoprotein (AFP) response has been demonstrated as a biomarker for unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (uHCC) patients receiving immunotherapy, but its definition is still unclear. This exploratory study investigated the AFP trajectory and clinical outcomes of receiving atezolizumab plus bevacizumab (Atez/Bev) therapy.

Methods: This secondary analysis used the Atez/Bev arm data of phase III IMbrave150 study to distinguish potential AFP changing rate trajectories through latent class trajectory models.

Methods: This is a retrospective analysis that included 2 separate cohorts of patients undergoing endovascular coiling for aSAH. The training cohort consisted of 687 patients in the First Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University Medical College; the validation cohort consisted of 299 patients from Sun Yat-sen University's Affiliated Jieyang People's Hospital.

Analysis of a Yp11.2 region deletion in a Chinese female with Turner syndrome: A case report.

In recent years, an increasing number of abnormal DNA genotypes caused by chromosomal abnormalities have been revealed in cases of individual identification and sex-typing analysis, especially analyses of the amelogenin and short tandem repeat (STR) loci on the sex chromosomes. Here, we report a 17-year-old female with Turner syndrome typed as male due to the presence of the amelogenin Y allele. The Y-STR haplotype showed allele dropout of three Y-STR loci (DYS549, DYS392 and DYS448).

A triple fusion tissue-type plasminogen activator (TriF-ΔtPA) enhanced thrombolysis in carotid embolism-induced stroke model.

Recombinant tissue-type plasminogen activator (rtPA, or Alteplase) is the first approved thrombolytic drug for acute ischemic stroke, but suffers from a short half-life and poor resistance to plasminogen activator inhibitor (PAI-1), limiting its clinical use. The development of novel thrombolytic agents with improved benefit/risk balance has always been of great significance. In this study, we identified a mutant of serine protease domain of tPA (named ΔtPA) capable of escaping the inhibition by endogenous PAI-1 with 66-fold increased resistance compared to the wild type tPA.

Rational: Hand-Schüller-Christian syndrome (HCS) is a rare disease with little clinical awareness, but the condition is more dangerous, and it combines with empty sella syndrome (ESS) which is extremely rare.

Presentation: A 26-year-old male patient who had proptosis, headaches, and diabetes insipidus for more than 10 years, and chronic cough and wheeze for 8 years presented to our hospital due to an abrupt onset of chest pain for 2 days.

Diagnosis: Hand-Schüller-Christian syndrome is diagnosed based on the typical clinical manifestations of diabetes insipidus and bilateral proptosis, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) pituitary imaging and pathology.

Discovery of microglia gonadotropin‑releasing hormone receptor and its potential role in polycystic ovarian syndrome.

Hypothalamic inflammation is a pathophysiological basis of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), while overactivated and/or excess M1 polarized microglia are considered to be the main reason for the occurrence of hypothalamic inflammation. Therefore, and experiments were performed to assess the relationships between microglia‑mediated inflammatory reactions and endocrine functions in the PCOS hypothalamus. The expression of gonadotropin‑releasing hormone (GnRH) receptor (GnRHR) was demonstrated in hypothalamic microglia, and it was found that low concentration, GnRH agonist, leuprolide acetate accelerated the expression of M2 polarization marker CD206, while high concentration leuprolide acetate increased the expression of M1 polarization marker CD86 .

Case series: Montgomery T-tube placement for subglottic tracheal stenosis: a report of 3 cases.

Rationale: Subglottic tracheal stenosis is stenosis of the trachea between the vocal cords and the lower margin of the cricoid cartilage. The Montgomery T-tube is used as a tracheostomy tube and a combined tracheal stent to avoid postoperative tracheal stenosis.

Patient Concerns: Because the stenosis is close to the glottis, surgical treatment is complex, and many complications may arise.
