Background: Adhesive capsulitis (AC) causes shoulder pain and limited range of motion. While ultrasound-guided suprascapular nerve block, glenohumeral joint hydrodilatation, and physical therapy are effective individually, their combined use is not well-studied.
Objective: This study evaluates the effect and safety of combining ultrasound-guided suprascapular nerve block, glenohumeral joint hydrodilatation, and physical therapy on range of motion and pain, comparing diabetic and non-diabetic patients.

Aims: Limited head-to-head data exist for daratumumab plus pomalidomide and dexamethasone (DPd) and non-pomalidomide-containing triplet regimens to treat relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM). This study conducted population-adjusted indirect comparisons of overall survival (OS) for DPd vs. daratumumab, carfilzomib, and dexamethasone (DKd) and daratumumab, bortezomib, and dexamethasone (DVd).

Rationale: Corticosteroid-responsive type 2 (T2) inflammation underlies the T2-high asthma endotype. However, we hypothesized that type 1 (T1) inflammation, possibly related to viral infection, may also influence corticosteroid response.
Objectives: To determine the frequency and within-patient variability of T1-high, T2-high, and T1/T2-high asthma endotypes and whether virally influenced T1-high disease influences corticosteroid response in asthma.

Background & Aims: Liver cancer-related deaths are projected to exceed one million annually by 2030. Existing therapies have significant limitations, including severe side effects and inconsistent efficacy. Innovative therapeutic approaches to address primary liver cancer (PLC) have led to the ongoing development of tumor-derived organoids.

Background: Metabolic risk factors are a significant cause of global burden among adolescents and young adults, but there is a lack of attention to the burden attributable to these metabolic risk factors globally.
Aims: This study aims to provide comprehensive estimates of five important metabolic risk factors and the attributable disease burden in people aged 15-39 years from 1990 to 2021, based on the Global Burden of Disease Study (GBD) database.
Methods: Global total deaths and disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) were used to describe the burden attributable to five common metabolic risk factors, including high fasting plasma glucose (FPG), high low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), high systolic blood pressure (SBP), high body mass index (BMI), and kidney dysfunction, in adolescents and young adults.

A new era in cancer therapy emerged with the arrival of immune-checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), followed by a new cadre of immune-related adverse events that affect up to 40% of patients. Literature on the pathological features associated with these events is still limited. Therefore, to expand our knowledge of the histopathologic spectrum of pulmonary changes, we conducted a case study series analysis on 16 non-neoplastic lung samples collected during or after ICI therapy.

Introduction: There is no consensus on the optimal surveillance interval for patients undergoing resection of colorectal liver metastases (CRLM). We sought to assess the timing and intensity of recurrence following curative-intent resection of CRLM utilizing a recurrence-free survival (RFS) hazard function analysis.
Methods: Patients with CRLM who underwent curative-intent resection were identified from a multi-institutional database.

Endometriosis is a chronic painful condition affecting 10% of reproductive-aged women with a high prevalence of overlapping gastrointestinal symptoms. There is a significant diagnostic delay for endometriosis and current screening practices for endometriosis in gastroenterology clinic populations have not been evaluated. 112 gastroenterology providers (57.

Background: Gallbladder cancer is often associated with poor prognosis, especially when patients experience early recurrence after surgery. Machine learning may improve prediction accuracy by analysing complex non-linear relationships. The aim of this study was to develop and evaluate a machine learning model to predict early recurrence risk after resection of gallbladder cancer.

Migraine is one of the most common neurological disorders in the US. Currently, the diagnosis and management of migraine are based primarily on subjective self-reported measures, which compromises the reliability of clinical diagnosis and the ability to robustly discern candidacy for available therapies and track treatment response. In this study, we used a computational pipeline for the automated, rapid, high-throughput, and objective analysis of encephalography (EEG) data at Cleveland Clinic to identify signatures that correlate with migraine.

Background And Aims: Unconjugated bilirubin (UCB) is a byproduct of the heme group that indicates irregularities in the metabolism of several important biological molecules, such as hemoglobin. UCB is processed by hepatic UGT1A1, which catalyzes its conjugation to the metabolites bilirubin diglucuronide (BDG) and bilirubin monoglucuronide (BMG). The serum concentrations of BDG and BMG may indicate liver injury or dysfunction.

Introduction: Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) can modulate immune responses and suppress inflammation in autoimmune diseases. Although their safety has been established in clinical trials, the efficacy of MSCs is inconsistent due to variability in potency among different preparations and limited specificity in targeting mechanisms driving autoimmune diseases.
Methods: We utilized High-Dimensional Design of Experiments methodology to identify factor combinations that modulate gene expression by MSCs to mitigate inflammation.
